Crash complet d'Ubuntu 16-04 après simple maj !!
bonjour les Ubuntiens,
du jamais vu en 7 ans, je viens de faire une simple maj du système via la logithèque ( genre sécurité d'ubuntu)
Je n'ai pas de dépôts particulier.
J'utilise Nvidia comme pilote.
Ubuntu 16.04
Et comme le jeu que j'utilisais dernièrement ne se lancé pas j'ai rebooté, et ploumb !!
Je me retrouve à l'écran de connexion avec mot de passe ( qui n'est pas en plein écran) et il bloque, impossible de se connecter même en invité.
Immédiatement je suis sur le même ordi mais branché sur mon ancien disque dur avec Ubuntu 14.04.
Voilà, voilà, et dire que j'ai fais cette maj à cause des problèmes sur windows.
Je ne sais pas du tout quoi faire !
Es-ce que je peux brancher mon disque dur avec Ubuntu 16.04 en 2ème disque dur ? et comment on fait déjà ?

Je ne connais pas l'UEFI (tu ne donnes pas d'indication sur l'organisation de tes disques - GPT ou msdos), mais je suppose qu'il est possible de définir la priorité de démarrage affectée à ton deuxième disque. Avec msdos, tu entres dans le BIOS avec une des touches de fonctions (assez souvent F2) et tu peux préciser cette priorité.
Cela étant, ayant démarré à partir de la 14.04, produis un rapport de démarrage et donnes-en ici l'adresse.

merci Arbiel, cela me servira pour récupérer mes documents récents.
Je verrai mieux tout çà en fin de semaine. Pour un rapport de démarrage, on doit passer par boot-repair ?

Note: je possède 2 disques durs, l'un avec ubuntu 16.04 (planté) et l'autre ubuntu 14.04 (ok), mais un seul est connecté.
J'ai donc lancé ubuntu 16.04 en mode live avec le disque contenant ubuntu 16.04 connecté et installé boot-repair.
Il m'a donné cette adresse: http://paste2.org (rapport de démarrage).
Cela me paraît bizzare ..

Ok, après avoir mieux lu je comprends que le rapport de boot-repair n'a pas fonctionné.
J'ai installé boot-repair comme ceci:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install boot-repair
Je vais réessayer avec
sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair && sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y boot-repair boot-info && sudo sed -i 's#-b http://#-b #' /usr/share/boot-sav/gui-actions.sh && boot-repair
et pour info j'utilise un live usb 16.04 crée sous ubuntu 14.04 avec usb-creator, où il faut taper live pour que le mode live d'ubuntu se lance.
J'ai aussi essayer de lancer ubuntu avec un noyau plus ancien en affichant le grub (un post récent m'y a aidé) sans succès.
l'ordi bloque à l'écran de connexion en mode sans échec (presque idem qu'un post récent)

Aucune anomalie ne m'a sauté aux yeux.
Comme tu indiques que tu bloques sur l'écran d'ouverture de session, et que tu as essayé de démarrer avec chacun des noyaux plus présents sur ta partition système, je me demande si ton clavier correspond bien à la configuration du système.
Si ce n'est pas trop te demander, réinstalle la 16.04 en supprimant la saisie du mot de passe à l'ouverture de la session. Comprends bien cependant que je ne suis absolument pas certain que cela te permette de démarrer sur la 16 04
Tu peux aussi attendre que quelqu'un d'autre analyse ton problème et trouve quelque chose de plus convaincant.

Oui, je peux toujours réinstaller.
Habituellement Ubuntu ne me demande pas de mot de passe à l'ouverture, seulement lorsque je ferme la session à la réouverture de celle-ci.
A la fin du rapport de boot-repair est indiqué

ohlalala, euh, j'ai appuyé sur le bouton magique de boot-repair et suivis les indications données.
Le logiciel a rencontré des problèmes mais a fini par s'en sortir.
1er problème, il m'a demandé où installer le grub, et j'ai mis sda (mon disque entier), et sda2 (/), maintenant j'ai le grub qui s'affiche au démarrage.
L'ordi a démarré, ouaih, mais je ne le sens pas du tout .. j'ai un sens interdit en haut à droite, qui me dit problèmes(s).

Bon l'ordi ne va pas bien mais j'ai réussi a utiliser boot-repair !

C'est bien sur ce que tu appelles le disque entier qu'il fallait installer grub, /dev/sda. Le fait de l'avoir également enregistré sur la partition /dev/sda2 n'était ni utile ni catastrophique. grub est installé sur un petit emplacement qui se trouve au début du support choisi, cad au début du disque entier ou à celui de la partition. Rien d'autre ne vient s'enregistrer dans ces zones. À la mise sous tension, le PC vient lire l'emplacement situé au début du disque et passe le contrôle au programme qui s'y trouve, à savoir grub. L'emplacement qui se trouve au début de la partition est ignoré (c'est le fonctionnement standard du BIOS, mais les BIOS ne fonctionnent pas tous de la même manière, ce qui fait qu'il est concevable que ton BIOS fonctionne différemment).
Je n'ai pas eu le temps d'analyser ton nouveau rapport de démarrage, et n'aurai vraisemblablement pas le temps avant quelques jours.
En espérant que quelqu'un vienne me supplanter pendant cette absence.

j'étais persuadé qu'il fallait que je choisisse sda2, et comme boot-repair a eu pas mal de problème j'avais rajouté sda en plus par sécurité.
Les logiciels de base fonctionnent correctement (nautilus, internet, vidéo) mais je sais qu'il y a des dépendances non satisfaites, en autre Steam, ah et la logithèque ne se lance pas.

Ah, aujourd’hui la logithèque se lance mais je ne sais si je peux l'utiliser.
