Radeon HD 5770 et limites résolution?

Bonjour à tous!

Voilà mon souci, j'ai une carte sus-nommée dans le titre. Arandr ne me propose une résolution que jusqu'à 1920x1080, alors que mes 2 écrans peuvent assurer jusqu'à 2560x1440. J'ai tenté d'ajouter à la main (terminal) d'autres résolutions, qui apparaissent dans arandr du coup, mais écran noir...

Un petit coup de main?

ce que dit lukeperf est faux, ça n'a rien a voir
on parle pas de jouer mais au moins d'afficher un simple bureau dans la résolution souhaité.

1) qu'est-ce que ça donne avec un seul écran ?
2) quel version d'ubuntu utilises tu ?
3) le model de ta carte exactement
4) ton ecran est branché sur ta carte via quel port ?

1. même problème avec un seul écran
2. ubuntu-studio 18.04
3. VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Juniper XT [Radeon HD 5770] (je sais pas si ça donne toutes les infos, sinon je trouve ça comment?)
4. 2 en vga côté écrans et dvi côté ordi, et 1 en minidisplay côté ordi et hdmi côté écran.

Mais là, ça ne s'arrange pas... Redémarrage après MAJ et plus qu'un écran (default), il ne propose que 1360x768 (ce qui était la résolution de l'écran 1, qui s'applique maintenant au 3...) avec un rafraîchissement de 76 Hz au lieu de 60. J'ai désinstallé xrandr et arandr, mais rien ne change...

Je suis plus devant le bon ordi (c'est au bureau) mais il me dit qu'il est obsolète et qu'il est remplacé par x11-server-utils

le vga n'accepte pas au dessus de 1920x1080.
qu'estce que ça donne juste avec l'ecran branché en hdmi ?
dis nous les ports disponible sur ta carte graphique stp

je voulais passer tester ça au bureau aujourd'hui mais pas eu le temps, je checke ça lundi 1ère heure

Je deux cartes radon 5770. Sur chacune j'ai 1 port dvi et 2 minidisplay
côté écrans j'ai 2 ldlc 32" avec 2 ports hdmi, 1 minidisplay et un vga.

Mais comme je disais, là je n'ai plus qu'un écran suite à la mise à jour, avec un seul choix de résolution sad

ha,donc tu as branché un écran sur chaque carte graphique ?
je ne sais pas ce que tu as mis a jour
mais vu la resolution utilisé, il est possible que ton pilote ne soit pas actif

Oui un sur chaque carte. C'est la mise à jour ubuntu. J'étais déjà en 18.04, et j'ai redémarré après la dernier mise à jour système (ce n'est peut-être pas lié hein!) et je suis passé de ce que je décris plus haut, à un seul écran en 1360x768 sad sad sad
Effectivement le pilote ne semble pas actif... Comment est-ce que je peux réinitialiser déjà pour avoir mes écrans, puis ensuite me (vous, en fait...) reposer la question d'augmenter la résolution?

as tu essayé de faire un xorg.conf ?
essaie de démarrer sur un ancien kernel aussi, je crois qu'il ya eu une mise a jour du kernel recemment

Non j'ai pas essayé de démarrer sur un ancien Kernel. c'est assez fou là j'ai vraiment pas de choix dans le gestionnaire de paramètres...
Ni la résolution, ni la fréquence, ni même la rotation ou la réflexion... Comme s'il avait perdu la config des choix possibles...

ok là après avoir redémarré, j'ai toujours un seul écran, mais pas le même... Et l'autre est noir avec un trait genre terminal.
Et dans le gestionnaire de paramètres, je ne peux plus ouvrir le panneau d'affichage
"impossible de lancer la fenêtre de configuration des écrans"

désinstalle le dernier kernel, ça devrait etre le 4.15.0-24
et redemarre

(vérifie qu'il t'en reste d'autre quand meme)

Le noyau actuellement utilisé (version 4.15.0-24-lowlatency) est en       │
