[RESOLU] Erreur Grub | install live USB | Erreur fatale
Bonjour,
Voici un résumé :
Secure boot OFF
LEGACY
Windows 10 (suite à mise à jour depuis Windows 7) avec 3 partitions : 100Mb reserved, 50Gb Windows 10, 500Mb (autre windows)
J'ai réduit depuis Windows sa propre partition pour libérer 50Gb (il faisait donc 100Gb auparavant)
Je lance donc mon installation depuis une clé créé avec Rufus ou Etcher en MBR forcément.
J'ai essayé Kubuntu 18.04, Linux Mint 16.04 et Manjaro 18.
Mais chaque fois l'installation se bloque au moment de l'écriture de GRUB, impossible de finaliser l'installation.
Auriez-vous l'une ou l'autre idée pour comprendre ce qui bloque?
Comme je suis un peu rouillé niveau connaissance GNU, 2 ans sans activité dans ce domaine. Je me demandais ce qui aurait pu changer ou bien passer à côté mon attention.
A savoir que quant j'installe je choisi la gestion manuel des partitions et je crée dans l'espace libre une lecteur logique avec une partition / une partition swap et une partition /home. J'ai aussi essayé une partition / sans rien d'autres.

petite question windows a t'il été installer avec le secureboot activer???

il n'y a jamais de bon ou de mauvais choix, uniquement des directions qui diffèrent.

Bonjour,
Pourrais tu faire un boot info?
Je voudrais vérifier la structure de ton disque. Je pense à un problème entre legacy/UEFI DOS/GPT (Ca reste une hypothèse, qui pourrait êre appronfondie)

Difficile de répondre concernant le secure boot, quant j'ai voulu commencer à installer mon petit linux à côté j'ai été voir et il était déjà désactiver.

Je n'arrive pas à accéder à ton boot-info. J'ai une connexion très mauvaise en ce moment. Peux tu vérifier ton lien et s'il est correct j'espère qu'un autre intervenant pourra le poster.

Dans ton boot info, on voit bien ton windows sur ton sdb. On voit bien également une place libre d'environ 50 Go. Pas de trace d'une installation incomplète.
Ton disque a une table de partition dos. Par conséquent, tu es limité à 4 partitions primaires.
Je te conseille de ne faire qu'une seule partition pour Ubuntu et par conséquent de laisser l'installateur se débrouiller. Lors de l'installation, choisis installer à côté de windows. L'installateur fera le nécessaire et créera la partition lui même.
Dis moi si ça te convient, si ce n'est pas le cas, précise ce qui ne te va pas.

Le soucis c'est que Kubuntu ne détecte pas le Windows, enfin en tout cas il ne propose pas de s'installer à côté.
En mode Assisté :
Disque entier
entier avec LVM
entier LVM chiffré
Du coup je le fais en manuel?

Peux tu regarder dans le bios si ton disque dur est configuré en ACHI ou en RAID.
Si il est en RAID, le problème vient probablement de là. Si tu le passes de RAID à ACHI, c'est windows qui risque de ne pas être content de ce changement.

Je n'avais pas l'option comme je l'ai expliqué, j'ai donc créé une partition primaire ext4. Ca s'est étrangement bien passé, l'installation fut vraiment longue par contre. MAIS au boot suivant l'installation, j'ai reçu cette erreur au premier démarrage.

Peux tu vérifier l'état de ton disque avec smartmontools (Je ne sais pas ce que ça va donner avec un ssd)
De ce que j'ai vu de ton boot info, tu n'utilises pas LVM et ton disque n'est pas crypté. Peux tu le confirmer STP?

Déjà initramfs rencontre un gros problème, or c'est une piece capitale pour le lancement du système.
Ça laisse à penser une iso corrompue et/ou un support mal fait et/ou un support défaillant ; et en plus, comme le pense Nico: un dd moribond.

Très étrange en effet, je change de programme car la clé en question semble avoir un soucis de partitionnement, j'ai donc supprimer toutes les partitions et recréer un système de partition msDOS sur celle-ci à l'aide d'un live pour partition et check.
Le contrôleur SMART renvoie de bon résultat pour le SSD.
J'ai relancé la création d'une clé et je vous tiens informé.

Je n'y comprend rien. J'ai bien une clé prévue pour du MBR, j'installe une ancienne version de LinuxMint 16.04, je sais qu'elle fonctionnait sur plein d'autres pc en dual boot avec un windows déjà présent.
Ici j'ai testé de créer une partition depuis windows, lui attribuer une lettre de lecteur et j'ai copié des fichiers dessus sans aucun problème.
Est-ce qu'il est possible qu'autre chose que le secure boot bloque l'installation du démarreur linux?

Ça a fonctionné !
Donc j'ai suivi l'explication du sujet. J'ai utlisé gdisk (déjà présent via le live Kubuntu ou Linux Mint)
Suppression des résidus GPT, maintien du MBR. Exactement comme décris.
Au démarrage suivant ça posait un autre problème. Après une rapide analyse visuelle, j'ai alors constaté que la partition du Windows indiquait une erreur. La taille de sa partition était correcte, mais par contre je ne voyais plus l'espace utilisé ou libre. Retour vers Windows, vérification des partitions avec son propre outil, même problème, -> chkdsk /f, redémarrage, le disque fut alors analysé pendant le boot et réparé.
Une fois dans Windows, j'ai fais une nouvelle vérification dans l'outil de partitionnement et cette fois la partition était bien affichée, sa taille et l'espace employé/libre. Même chose dans le live de Kubuntu. Il détecte même Windows et me propose de lui même d'utiliser une partie de sa partition pour s'installer. Tout s'est donc fait automatiquement et ça fonctionne super bien !
Problème résolu ! Un tout grand merci ! Sans vous, vos idées et pistes je n'y serais pas arrivé.
