Résolu Encore un ASUS récalcitrant
Bonjour à tous
Une connaissance m'a confié son laptop pour une réinstallation Ubuntu sans W 10 déjà effacé,sauf que:
Ubuntu 18.04.1 en live session m'affiche dès le départ un message d'erreur qui défile:
PCIe bus error severity=connected,type physical layer,id 00e5 Receiver ID.
Lorsque j'essaye Ubuntu 16.04 en live no soucis.
J'arrive à installer jusqu'à "Qui êtes vous?" sans possibilité de valider la page.

Bonjour,
Vu ta description, ça ressemble à un problème lié à ton module WIFI.
Lance une session live en passant pci=noaer à grub.
Fais un
sudo lshw -numericet donne le résultat.
Si mon hypothèse est correcte, l'installation devrait être possible. Il faudra que tu repasses le même paramètre au premier boot et que tu le mettes en dur par la suite.

Bonjour,
Entrer des commandes dans un terminal et donner le résultat - Voilà la marche à suivre :
Ouvre le terminal avec ctrl-alt-t
Sélectionne la commande voulue avec un triple clic (ça sélectionne toute la ligne, même la fin si on ne la voit pas)
Colle-la dans le terminal avec un clic molette, valide avec Entrée
Sélectionne et copie tout ce que te dit le terminal depuis la commande jusqu'à la dernière ligne incluse
Clique sur le <> de l'éditeur de message
Colle là où se trouve le curseur (entre le ] et le [)

Je confirme tu es bien dans la situation à laquelle je pensais, skylake ou ultérieur (ici, c'est kabylake) et RTL8723BE :
*-network

product: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHzTu as de plus carte graphique nVidia, normalement tu devrais réussir à booter avec celle-là.
Applique le post #1 de https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2028872 : passe le paramètre pci=noaer à grub, aussi bien pour l'installation que pour la première fois que tu lances ta session installée et rajoute le dans le fichier de configuration de grub.
Pour ta carte nVidia, sur ta session installée, installe le driver propriétaire (Gestionnaire de mises à jour, Paramètres, Pilotes additionnels).
Une fois tout ça fait, reboote ta machine puis donne le retour des commandes suivantes :
dmesg | grep "Command line"
cat /etc/default/grub | grep GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX

Je dois rater une étape,et je ne comprends pas tout.
Je n'ai pas de problème pour être en Live session y compris avec Ubuntu 18.04.1.
Je ne dépasse pas le "Qui êtes vous" lors d'une installation quelque soit la version d'ubuntu (sauf la mate que ma connaissance voudrait,qui freeze à l'entrée mais bon)
Ce que je ne capte pas c'est:

Je modifie grub lorsqu'il apparait avec la touche "e",mais je ne peux garder la modif en sortant de la live.
Je suis désolé de poster cette question,mais j'en perds mon latin,pas difficile =0

Quand tu lances l'isntallation, as tu bien passé le paramètre pci=noaer à grub, en appuyant sur e
Je te confirme que ce paramètre n'est pas mémorisé. Une fois que l'installation est faite, il faut appliquer le même principe, appuyer sur e, rajouter le paramètre, puis modifier /etc/default/grub et enfin update-grub
Tu as une carte graphique nVidia. Il faudra peut être passer en plus de pci=noaer rajouter modprobe.blacklist=nouveau
Ce second paramètre n'est pas à ajouter dans /etc/default/grub, il est nécessaire parfois jusqu'à ce que le pilote propriétaire nVidia soit installé.

Tu as corrigé une erreur de ma part.
Je passais par le live pour l'installation en ayant appliqué la formule pci=noaer de ce fait je n'avais plus le paramètre pour l'installation.
Correction appliquée : Je suis toujours scotché à "Qui êtes-vous".
Je calme les bêtes et j'y retourne.

Je ne suis pas sûr que l'on se comprenne. Pas toujours facile par forum interposé 
Quand tu bootes sur ton support d'installation (DVD ou clé), tu as le choix entre Essayer sans installer, installer et encore d'autres choix.
Tu te positionnes sur Installer, sans valider quoique ce soit. Là, tu appuies sur e (la lettre). Tu vas pouvoir entrer le paramètre pci=noaer, juste après splash (pci=noqer avec un clavier AZERTY configuré en QWERTY). Et tu valides par F10. Tu vas ensuite rentrer dans l'installateur.
Si ça bloque toujours, en plus de pci=noaer, tu vas ajouter juste à côté, en passant une espace modprobe.blacklist=nouveau (,odprobe:blqcklist=nouvequ si configuration en QWERTY)
Ca c'est si tu es en UEFI (ce qui est probable). Si tu es en Legacy, il faut appuyer sur F6 (autre) au début du boot, quand ça t'est proposé.
Si tu as un doute, prends des photos et poste les.

Lance une session live : Essayer sans installer en passant les deux paramètres comme indiqué précédemment
Ouvre un terminal et donne le retour de :

Dès que tu rebootes, les paramètres sont à remettre, que ce soit pour une session live ou pour installer.
Le retour est correct : on voit bien les 2 paramètres.
As tu essayer de faire l'installation à partir de la session live? (l'installateur est disponible dans une session live)

Le noyau s'installe mais je suis toujours bloqué à "Qui êtes vous",et refuse de passer à la phase suivante.

Peux tu prendre un photo STP? Je n'arrive pas à comprendre où ça bloque.
