Démarrage très lent

Bonjour,

Je suis sur 16.04 avec 4go de RAM et une fois démarré je n'ai pas de ralentissement notable.
Mais avant de démarrer j'ai le temps de fumer une 100's...

La commande systemd-analyze le confirme :

MS-7592:~$ systemd-analyze
Startup finished in 1min 3.400s (kernel) + 7min 2.041s (userspace) = 8min 5.441s

J'ai cherché dans différents posts mais à part cette commande je ne comprends pas quoi faire.

Une aide serait bienvenue.

Tes dépots ne sont pas très propres, makerbot ne semble plus maintenu.
Connais-tu tous tes PPA, celui de skype doit être obsolète.
Unity avec 4Go ne sera pas très vivace.

Tu peux déjà régler ta swappiness :

echo vm.swappiness=5 | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf
echo vm.vfs_cache_pressure=50 | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf
sudo sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf

Je sais que j'ai des paquets dont il faudrait que je me débarrasse mais ils sont présents depuis longtemps et cette lenteur est arrivée récemment.
Nettoyer ne serais pas une mauvaise idée mais je ne peux compter sur ma mémoire pour savoir dans quel contexte ils ont été installés surtout avec des ajouts demandés pour des softs qui ne sont pas présent dans le "market" Ubuntu mais qu'on est quand même obligé d'utiliser.

Unity ?
Si c'est l'environnement de 16.04 il a toujours été présent car je ne l'ai pas installé...

Les commandes n'ont pas donné de réponse sauf pour la dernière :

Bon je redémarre la machine, cela tombe bien j'ai envie de fumer wink

Nettoyer fait toujours du bien et les lenteurs peuvent arriver à cause de PPA pas très nets qui apportent des dépendances.
Grosso, je vois que tu as des PPA pour imprimantes 3D et des trucs que je ne connais pas.
Si tu ne sais pas ce que c'est, tu peux virer (où clic droit dessus pour chercher dans ton moteur de recherche) :

echo; dpkg -l | grep -Ei "linux-(g|h|i|lo|mo|si|t)" | grep -v ^rc | sort -k3 | tr -s " " | cut -d" " -s -f1,2,3,4 | column -s" " -t ; echo ; uname -mr

Tu avais eu un souci  antérieur > Plus moyen d'installer de logiciels ou mises à jour [Fermé]

Il y a quand même quelque chose que je ne comprends pas...

Si je fait un

sudo apt-get update

Tout est rapide sauf arrivé à la ligne

makerbot et skype ne paraissent pas en erreur.

Malheureusement je suis obligé d'utiliser mono à cause du soft mattercontrol qui est l'un des rares à pouvoir piloter mon imprimante 3D K8200 en USB.
Si ce derner se met à jour à chaque démarrage c'est sur que c'est plus long.
Ne peut-on pas forcer Ubuntu à ne pas faire de mises à jour au démarrage mais uniquement après avec autorisation de l'user ?

Depuis le 10 avril 2012, Ubuntu 10.10 est en fin de vie (end of life, EOL). Elle ne profite plus de nouvelle mise à jour de sécurité et les paquets logiciels pour cette version sont déplacés dans des serveurs d'archive.

Où alors on karscherise en virant tous les PPA et en remettant les sources au propre.

Pour le #8 le clic droit ne marche pas.
Ensuite désolé mais je n'ai un ralentissement qu'au démarrage.
Virer les "PPA" peut impliquer avoir à reconfigurer certaines choses comme par exemple le pilotage USB de mon imprimante 3D et autres trucs pas propres mal documentés.
Je rappele quand même que le problème de "démarrage trop lent" est récent et que cela fait un moment que je n'ai pas fait de mises à jour/ajouts de mon côté à contrario d'Ubuntu qui aime me tracasser avec des mises à jour non désirées...
Ros, skype et autres sont là depuis longtemps...

Et oui j'utilise des imprimantes 3D...

En ce qui concerne les ralentissements, la mémoire et le reste je consulte souvent le moniteur et je n'ai pas vu de différence entre avant le changement swap et maintenant, mes ressources sont loin d'être saturées

Un OS pas propre se dégrade, tu as juste eu du pot que ce ne soit pas le cas avant.
je ne pige rien à "je n'ai pas fait de mises à jour" (impardonnable et injustifiable) et "Ubuntu ((...) mises à jour non désirées" (tu n'as rien à désirer en informatique, une mise à jour doit être appliquée et c'est tout, sinon, on gère soi même et on appelle personne au secours)

L'idée est d''utiliser la RAM le plus possible et d'éviter de swapper le plus possible, ce pouvait avoir un impact sur ton problème, mais non, pas grave : ton ordi sera plu vivace.

Bon on se comprend pas...

j'ai pas choisi le "pas propre" c'est comme çà ou passer sur Windows ou autres distributions ou faire comme tout le monde et utiliser mon PC pour des trucs nuls autre que l'impression 3D...

Possible mais alors j'aurais des ralentissements TOUT LE TEMPS pas juste au démarrage...
Et une fois démarré il est au top mon PC.
Si je consulte souvent le moniteur système c'est parce que je ne vais sur internet qu'en contrôlant que les sites que les sites visités ne génèrent pas un trafic sortant anormal (récupération d'informations à l'insu des utilisateurs), et je ferme vite tout site suspect...
Il doit y avoir une mise à jour récente qui bloque avec un truc ancien puis le système fait son job et démarre à la normale.

Oui il en faut mais elles doivent être activées avec autorisation de l'user.
Quand j'ai du temps là je veux bien les autoriser mais si mon PC plante alors que j'en ai besoin là je ne suis pas d'accord.

Pas possible de voir ce qui bloque sans tout péter et sans être sur d'avoir de nouveau un système "pas propre" ?
Ok je finirais bien par trouver le temps pour me débarrasser définitivement d'Ubuntu.

Tu peux toujours désactiver la recherche automatique des mises à jours au démarrage si tu penses que cette recherche ralentit ton ordi  ( aller dans système , puis préférence , puis personnel , puis applications au démarrage , puis décocher Notificateur de mise à jour ) ... par contre il ne te faudra pas oublier régulièrement de faire les recherches des mises à jour manuellement )

Je vois encore skype que j'ai désinstallé et le ros que je n'arrive pas à trouver dans mes paquets et dont j'ai seulement désactivé les mises à jours dans la partie "autres logiciels".

J'ai remarqué que çà bloque grave lors de la remise sous tension du PC pour utilisation alors que c'est plus modéré lors d'un redémarrage, bien plus que les 3 minutes annoncées par

systemd-analyze

Mais j'ai pas le temps de tout couper et de tester un démarrage après mise sous tension avec les mises à jour désactivées donc suite sur ce point plus tard.

La remarque sur Unity en début de post m'interpelle, n'y aurait-il pas un moyen de virer ce truc définitivement ?

Pour moi Ubuntu c'est comme avec une partenaire quand la magie part c'est dur de continuer et quand cela m'a trop gonflé c'est trop tard.
Je viens de terminer de monter un deuxième PC avec Fedora pour n'utiliser que les logiciels d'impression 3D de cette distribution.
Et il y en a un 3ème en route avec Trisquel qui lui me servira pour un soft d'impression 3D Flashforge qui ne tourne que sur Debian.
Par contre il faut que je trouve le moyen de porter ma licence Simplify3D (un soft d'impression 3D qui coûte un bras) sur une autre machine (toujours en Debian car en plus d'être me.dique ce soft en tourne que sur Debian) donc je suis obligé pour l'instant de rester sur Ubuntu en partie...

Après mise hors tension et remise en tension du PC toujours un temps d'environ 10 minutes chrono pour démarrer (la commande annonce 5 minutes, quelle menteuse !!!)

C'est le double de temps d'un redémarrage...

Comme mon système de coupure met aussi hors tension mon modem je vais refaire un essai en lui laissant le temps de monter la connexion internet avant de démarrer le PC.
J’espère qu'Ubuntu n'a pas besoin d'une connexion internet pour démarrer normalement...

Déjà le résultat du test allumage PC avec Modem connecté à internet :

La commande est toujours aussi menteuse car en réel cela a pris le double...
Mais c'est deux fois moins qu'avec le modem pas encore connecté sur internet...
Ubuntu a-t-il besoin d’accéder à internet au démarrage alors que les mises à jours son désactivées !!!
Il y a une rumeur qui dit qu'Ubuntu récupère des informations pour les communiquer à des tiers et au démarrage je ne peux vérifier mon trafic internet sortant comme je le fait avec le moniteur système...
C'est pas grave en soi puisque je n'ai rien à cacher mais si çà me plombe un démarrage là pas question !!!
Je vais voir pour monter Wireshark sur mon PC Fedora pour surveiller ce qui se passe sur le réseau pendant que Ubuntu démarre...

En tous cas j'ai déjà une solution pour quand je suis pressé, je laisse le PC Fedora démarrer vite pour pour commencer à bosser puis je laisse la  tour Ubuntu pour la laisser ramer toute seule.
Et oui désolé mais 10 minutes pour démarrer un PC c'est inacceptable pour moi.
Petite note mon petit PC Fedora a 4Go en DDR2 et un double cœur 3giga, il est moins performant que ma tour Ubuntu qui elle a un Quad 3giga en 4Go DDR3 donc ce n'est pas un problème de machine obsolète...

Absolument pas : les dégradations peuvent venir de n'importe où.

Maintenant, pas propre c'est par exemple avoir un dépôt maverick ou un PPA abandonné, pas un réglage dans un fichier.

Pour vérifier où tu en es :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Un petit truc qui peut accélérer le démarrage :

sudo apt install haveged
sudo systemctl start haveged
sudo systemctl enable haveged

Certains périphériques USB sont longs a être tous énumérés, dont le wifi. Le temps total ([   95.628043] à [  340.366690]) est d'environ 245 secondes, soit plus de 4 minutes.
