Carte-mère MS-16GB

Bonjour,

J'ai un PC portable MSI qui tourne avec une version 14.04 de Linux. A l'époque, j'avais eu des soucis pour installer la version 14.10 à cause de ma carte-mère, une MS-16GB. Du coup, je voudrais savoir si vous pensez qu'elle sera compatible avec une version plus récente comme par exemple la 16.04.

Depuis ta 14.04 actuelle, peux-tu donner ces retours ?

Je n'ai encore jamais vu une carte mère qui pose problème. Ton soucis avec la 14.10 devait sûrement être dû à autre chose à l'époque

A l'époque il m'avais semblé avoir lu sur un article de ce même site que ma carte-mère était incompatible. Mais je n'arrive pas à le retrouver. Donc je me trompte peut-être.

Oups, faute de frappe sur la dernière commande. Je voulais dire :

Mais jusque là, je ne vois pas de raisons d'incompatibilité. Le plus simple est que tu télécharge Ubuntu 18.04.1 amd64 ici : http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases … -amd64.iso
Ensuite, crée une clé USB bootable avec et tente simplement de la cer une session live wink
