[RESOLU] Démarrage très lent

Bonjour et bonne année à tous,
déjà l'ordinateur n'a pas pris la bonne résolution de démarrer rapidement pour 2020…

J'ai branché le SSD sur mon ordi pour faire des tests de perf et il y a vraiment un problème. Il oscille entre des phases rapides et des phases (très) lentes.
J'ai pensé à faire une image disque, de le formater proprement, puis de restaurer les données. Sera-ce utile ?

Bonsoir,
problème résolu : j’ai formaté le SSD, puis restauré les données avec l’image disque faite tantôt.
Il démarre à nouveau comme avant, mon père est ravi !

on aurait bien aimé avoir des résultats de test avant/après avec hdparm

Exemple sur mon vieux Hitachi

désolé je n'ai fait que des tests avec gnome-disques et maintenant c'est trop tard.
Voici tout de même le retour de commande :

$ sudo hdparm -tT /dev/sdc

Son SSD est tout de même plus lent que le mien (alors qu'ils ont les mêmes vitesses théoriques) :

 Timing cached reads:   9202 MB in  2.00 seconds = 4605.43 MB/sec

Gnome-disque me donne une vitesse de lecture de ~270mo/s stable (~500mo/s pour le mien), ce qui est tout de même mieux qu'avant car il tombait souvent à 80mo/s.

tu peux mettre le service smartd.service pour avoir le suivi du disque
chez moi je vois qu'il chauffe quand je fais de la conversion vidéo

je vérifie régulièrement les données SMART dans gnome-disque.
Apparemment tout est déjà actif :

Non, car
1) gnome-disk, alias "Disques" est bugué quant à la lecture des données SMART ;

2) La commande

systemctl status smartd.service -l -n 50 --no-pager

loin de te montrer les données SMART, te montre seulement l'activité du daemon smartd ;

3) Il vaut mieux s'adresser au bon dieu qu'à ses saints.

Donc pour lire (et conserver pour voir leur évolution) l'état de tes disques,
je te conseille
- de créer un dossier de stockage des rapports SMART :

cd ; mkdir -v Smart-rapports

- ensuite d'y stocker les rapports datés :
en lançant, à intervalles réguliers (une fois par trimestre suffit pour un disque neuf et sain)

cd ~/Smart-rapports ; sudo smartctl -s on -S on -o on -a /dev/chacun-de-tes-disques > smart_$(date +%Y%m%d-%Hh%M).txt

en remplaçant "chacun-de-tes-disques" par ce qui conviendra.

/!\ Et quand un disque commence à manifester de l'usure, on remplace -o on par -o off, pour supprimer les tests automatiques toutes les quatre heures.

j'utilise Anacron et je me suis aussi créé une tâche hebdomadaire smartctl dans /etc/cron.weekly

/usr/sbin/smartctl -H /dev/sda
/usr/sbin/smartctl -x /dev/sda

De plus anacron envoi un mail de résultat

J'ai déjà smart-notifier d'installé, est-il utile de définir un cron en plus ?

C'est toujours bon à savoir !

Sinon si quelqu'un est capable de m’expliquer pourquoi le formatage du disque a résolu le problème de lenteur je suis preneur.
