Xubuntu 20.04 sur un lenovo (input/output error) [RESOLU]
Salut la communauté,
Je demande votre aide pour l'installation d'un Xubuntu sur un portable.
Lors de l'installation, au moment de la copie des fichiers apparaît l'erreur : Errno 5 Input/output error
Le message m'indique que le disque CD/DVD peut être défectueux.
Je fais une installation a partir d'une clé USB et la même clé avec la même version de Xubuntu ma servie pour mon pc de bureau sans problème.
J'ai fais un test smart du disque dur qui me dit que tout est OK, idem pour la RAM.
Que dois-je faire ?

Bonjour,

Pour aller vite, prends directement une autre clé USB pour faire ta LiveUSB et utilise un autre logiciel (*) que celui que tu avais utilisé pour faire ta LiveUSB actuelle.
(*) il y a le choix de logiciels dans la doc Live USB.

Merci pour ta réponse,
J'ai essayé différents programmes comme gnome-disk-utility, UNetbootin, Mkusb et avec Multisystem.
Meme erreur avec tous les programmes sauf avec le dernier ; Multisytem
Les copies de fichiers sont passées mais l'installation a échouée au moment du grub. Le message est le suivant : L'exécution de "grub-install /dev/sda" a échoué. Cette erreur est fatale.
Et dans les détails :
xubuntu grub-installer : Installation pour la plat-forme x86_64-efi.
xubuntu grub-installer : grub-install attention : Internal error.
xubuntu grub-installer : grub-install attention : erreur : failed to register the EFI boot entry; Opération non permise.
xubuntu grub-installer : error: Runnin 'grub-install --force "/dev/sda"' failed.
J'avais créée une petite partition EFI de 256 mb et une partition Ext4 de 50 gb.
Il y a une version de windows sur le pc (10 je crois)
Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé ?

Sur la photo dont tu as donné le lien dans le post #5, je vois :

Hard Disk: ST1000LM035-1RK172Il existe déjà une ligne pour le modèle Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15IKB dans la Liste des portables « Lenovo ». Je ne suis pas certain qu'il s'agisse exactement du même modèle que toi : on n'a pas son identifiant MTM (Machine-Type-Model), on ne sait pas si c'est "81DE00LAUS" comme le tien. Cependant, tu y trouveras des infos intéressantes. Il y a un lien vers ce fil dans lequel le post #14 donne des précisions sur les réglages à faire dans le "Bios" :
Boot Mode = UEFI
Secure Boot = Désactivé
Redémarrage rapide = désactivé.Ce n'est peut-être pas exhaustif mais il faut déjà que tu t'occupes de ces paramètres.

J'ai été dans le bios et j'ai mis le Boot Mode en UEFI, Fast Boot Disabled et Secure Boot Disabled.
Ensuite j'ai retenté une installation et j'ai exactement la même erreur.
J'ai regardé le tuto de Libre a Quimperlé mais le soucis c'est que je n'ai plus accès á Windows avec le boot cassé.

Démarre sur ta LiveUSB avec le choix "Essayer Ubuntu" afin de faire une session live. Depuis cette session live, je te prie de faire un Boot-info et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse.

Ton Windows est installé en mode non-EFI (en mode Bios classique). Je pense que c'est pour cette raison que tu galères. Est-ce que tu souhaites conserver ce Windows ou bien veux-tu le virer pour installer Xubuntu sur la totalité du disque ?

Ha ok, non bha l'idée c'est de garder Windows. C'est le portable de ma copine faut que j'assure mes arrières

Dans le bios j'étais en Legacy á la base.
Qu'est-ce que je pourrais faire ? Il me semble avoir quitté windows en mode "éteindre" la dernière fois parce qu'en hibernation il verrouille un truc au démarrage si j'ai bien capté. Mais sinon je vois une option qui est de faire un USB de récupération windows pour pouvoir booter dessus et faire les manipulation du tuto que tu m'as envoyé de "libre á quimperlé". Ça va prendre du temps pour trouver quelqu'un qui a windows10 autour de moi...

Il serait nettement plus simple que tu cesses en booter en mode EFI et que tu bootes en mode LEGACY puisque window est installé dans ce mode
Si tu ne sais pas régler le bios pour booter en LEGACY, supprime le répertoire EFI du support d'installation en changeant son nom.
Cependant, le plus pratique serait certainement de faire la réparation standard de boot-repair ( https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/boot-repair )
Suggested repair:

Merci pour tes conseils. Dans le bios j'ai activé le mode Legacy Support, Legacy First.
Puis j'ai pris une initiative, j'ai réinstallé Xubuntu en enlevant la partition EFI. Et l'installation á aboutie.
Mais je ne boot toujours pas sur le grub. Alors j'ai essayé le Boot-repair mais pour l'utiliser je dois etre sur le Live CD en mode Legacy. Et je n'y arrive pas.

La clé USB (live CD) apparaît dans la catégorie EFI. Et l'installation d'ubuntu aussi !

Et lors d'un live CD ou d'une session ubuntu il me confirme que je suis en EFI.

Bonjour Geole,
Merci pour tes conseils. Dans le bios j'ai activé le mode Legacy Support, Legacy First.
Alors j'ai essayé le Boot-repair mais pour l'utiliser je dois être sur le Live CD en mode Legacy. Et je n'y arrive pas.

Regarde les priorités que tu as dans le mode LEGACY
Il me semble qu'il y a contradiction
Dans le haut de l'image le disque dur n'est pas proposé.
Dans le bas de l'image il est avant le support USB, il devrait être après
Tu as de nouveau refais une installation en EFI qui est sans intérêt sans penser à vérifier avec la commande que je t'ai donnée.
Il est grand temps que tu renommes le répertoire EFI avec un autre nom pour de plus booter en EFI

Bonjour,
Oui je n'avais pas compris au début, j'ai renommé le répertoire EFI de la clé USB. Donc maintenant la clé n’apparaît plus dans le mode EFI du bios.
J'ai aussi changé la priorité dans le bios en mode Legacy pour placer la USB en premier.
Et lorsque je boot sur la clé USB je reste avec un écran noir et une "_" qui clignote sans fin. J'ai essayé de refaire une clé avec UNetbootin et pareil il ne boot pas sur l'USB mais sans ce "_" il passe direct au disque dur...
C'est bizarre.

L'avant dernier boot-info indique que le support d'installation dispose d'un boot en légacy qui ne peut pas fonctionner.... Peut-être refaire correctement la clé USB?

Bonjour et merci,
J'ai essayé de refaire la clé USB correctement. Il n'y a pas vraiment d'options lors de sa création en fait.
Voici comment je procède :
Formatage en FAT32 sur une version de Xubuntu 20.04 avec Gnome-disk-utility
utilisation d'un des programmes d'installation dont voici la liste avec les résultats (je les ai tous essayé ce matin)
UNetbootin = pas de legacy (écran noir) + input/ouput (en mode efi)
Mkusb = legacy ok + probleme input/output lors de la copie des fichiers
Gnome-Disk-utility = pas de legacy (écran noir) + probleme input/output lors de la copie des fichiers
Multisystem = pas de legacy (écran noir) + installation complete
usb-creator = Legacy + probleme input/output lors de la copie des fichier
Etcher = Legacy + probleme input/output lors de la copie des fichier
A noter que j'utilise une mémoire microSD avec un adaptateur USB, je ne sais pas si cela a de l'importance.
A noter aussi que l'installation avec usb-creator a bien fonctionné sur mon ordi de bureau
Est-ce qu'une autre version d'ubuntu changerai quelque chose, une vérification MD5 ?
Je m'arrache les cheveux...

Pourrais-tu essayer la version 18.04 afin de cerner ce problème input/ouput
Sinon, cela te pose-t-il un problème pour réinstaller windows en mode EFI?

Réinstaller windows oui mais je n'ai pas de cd, ni lecteur cd sur le portable, ni ne sais oú trouver un numéro de licence. Il était préinstallé á l'achat.
Je vais essayer la version 18.04 ok.

On va voir ce que cela va donner avec la version 18.04.
A propos de windows, boot-info à dit
OS#2: Windows 10 on sda2
Donc si windows est vraiment un windows10 ou un windows8, la licence est enregistrée une fois pour toute dans la NVRAM de la carte mère.
Il est installable à partir d'une clé USB. Il faut juste le télécharger https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/softwar … ndows10ISO
puis le transférer sur la clé formatée d'une façon spéciale. Mais on n'en est pas encore là.
