[Résolu] État d'un disque dur avec smartmontools, conclusion ?

Salut tout le monde,

J'ai des erreurs sur un disque actuellement occupé par Windows (aucune importance si je dois le formater, je précise d'emblée) et j'ai donc réalisé un test court avec smartmontools pour essayer d'en savoir plus.

Comme je ne connais pas bien l'outil, je ne sais pas interpréter les résultats, et j'en appelle à votre savoir sur la question smile

Alors, disque dur en état acceptable ou bon pour la poubelle ?

(j'ai pas fait un test long sans savoir si c'est nécessaire, mais s'il faut, je fais ^^)

Salut,

Le disque à 1 secteur réalloué, fonctionné 19165 heures, subit 806 chocs ou forte vibration et 96 chutes (libres). Il y a aussi les erreurs 199 et 200 qui montrent des erreurs de fonctionnement.

À ta place je ne l'utiliserai plus comme disque dur. Peut-être un chouette presse livre ? tongue

Merci pour ta réponse smile je n'avais pas fait attention aux valeurs, car je pensais curieusement que c'était des valeurs à déchiffrer et pas des valeurs absolues. Ça m'étonne à moitié qu'il ait tant souffert car c'est une machine qui était beaucoup utilisée en déplacement sur des stations et autres sites expérimentaux (d'ailleurs, la coque du portable est en métal quelconque et pas en bête plastique).

J'avais cru comprendre (mais c'est pour ma culture perso, pas pour ce cas précis) que certaines erreurs sont réparables, c'est effectivement possible ?

Je vais donc le démonter définitivement et le déposer en déchetterie, plutôt que de risquer des trucs et perdre des données ensuite.

Dans ton cas, la surface du disque est au moins un peu abîmée et la mécanique fatiguée. Donc, direction déchetterie, comme tu dis.

Le problème n'est pas qu'il y ait 1 secteur ou 12 ou 12000 secteurs de réalloués, mais qu'il y en a au moins deux (7648079 et 141860230)  qui sont candidats à être réalloués et qui ne peuvent pas l'être!!!!!!!
Vu qu'il y a déjà 41289  erreurs rencontrées, je serais surpris qu'il n'y en ait que deux....

Si tu ne te débarrasses pas du disque, le minima est de lancer un test badblocks sur le disque pour voir l'étendue des dégâts
ou de lancer un test long et de réparer les secteurs un par un     en commençant par  le plus récent 7648079
1) Vérifier si c'est  bien encore le cas

sudo   hdparm    --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing    --read-sector  7648079  /dev/sdb

2) Si oui, réparer

    sudo   hdparm    --yes-i-know-what-i-am-doing    --write-sector  7648079  /dev/sdb
