Ubuntu 16.04 vidéo saccade
Bonjour,
Je sais qu'il y a eu quelques discussion sur ce sujet mais je n'y ai pas trouvé la solution.
Mon soucis est que lors de lectures vidéo, après une certaine durée (genre 10 minutes il me semble que cela dépend de la qualité de vidéo), l'image commence à saccader quelques secondes. Puis elle redevient fluide pdt style 30 sec et saccade de nouveau quelques secondes etc... Le son lui continue sans autre et l'image, quand elle reprend, rejoint le son.
Ceci arrive autant lors de lectures sur internet (exemple: téléboy ou viméo), que lors de lectures de film enregistré sur mon disque dur.
Ce que je trouve étrange, c'est que j'ai un autre ordinateur portable qui a environ 10 ans. Sur celui-là j'avais installé il y a deux ans Ubuntu (14.04 x32) pour lui redonner vie et il n'a pas ce problème lors de lecture vidéo (par contre il est très lent pour tout le reste... :-)). Convaincu par Ubuntu, j'ai décidé d'aussi en faire l'installation (16.04) sur mon portable qui a environ deux ans et c'est avec celui-là que j'ai des soucis... D'ailleurs depuis cette installation il chauffe plus que sous windows et la batterie ce vide plus rapidement.
Voilà si quelqu'un a une idée, je l’accueillerais avec grande reconnaissance!

P.S. je suis ce qu'on appellerais un vrai débutant. Mes compétences se limites à installer un programme ou recopier une commande dans le terminal...

Pour info, entre deux j'ai "installer" ou "configuré" (je sais pas quel est le bon terme ) zram.

Après, je ne peux pas dire que cela impact les perf pendant le décodage vidéo.

@tarkan99: Hello, de manière générale j'ai toujours fait attention car je suis conscient de la fragilité. Cependant je ne suis pas le seul à utiliser ce portable et je ne peux pas exclure qu'il ait une fois été posé un peu brusquement...
Concernant la sauvegarde des données, j'ai régulièrement copié tout ce que j'ai d'important sur un disque dur externe et vais dès lors m'assurer que cela continue! Quoi qu'il en soit merci de m'y avoir rendu attentif!
@Caribou22: Ok, quoi qu'il en soit merci pour ta démarche. Je suis allé faire un tour sur le premier lien de ta signature, vraiment super comme article. Je vais testé ça dès que j'aurais le temps!!

toujours en attendant l'avis d'un expert SMART, je conseille de surveiller les données SMART régulièrement.
Pas besoin de faire un bisnext à chaque fois.
l'outil smart est maintenant installé.
Quand le problème de saccade apparait, peux-tu faire :
sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda
et fournir ici le compte rendu (en utilisant les balises code <>)
ainsi de
free -h
top

les disque dur sur laptop c'est la plaie, ya pas besoin de le poser brusquemment pour le flinguer
il suffit qu'il ne soit pas dans une position "droite" (genre sur tes genoux dans le canapé) pour qu'il y'est un risque a flinguer a terme le disque dur.
avec un ssd tu n'as pas ce problème.

@Tarkan99 et Laurent85, je vais tacher de faire ces deux entrées la prochaine fois que je regarde un film et que ça saccade puis je mettrais le résultat ici. Je n'ai pas le temps d'en regarder un aujourd'hui mais dès que l'occasion se donne je reviens à vous. Sinon pour répondre à la question de Tarkan99, le PC reste à la maison mais il vadrouille facilement du bureau au canapé et même au lit...
@lepetit: Je savais pas qu'il pouvait même être sensible à l'inclinaison... Un ssd est un disque dur flash? Si oui c'est bien dans cette direction que je souhaitais m'orienter lors du prochain achat...
Petite remarque rien à voir: Je trouve vraiment beau le nombre de personnes comme vous qui sont prêt à donner de leur temps pour aider les autres. Merci!

Bonjour à tous
Comme je l'avais mis dans mon poste #3, j'ai effectué "l'installation" de Zram. Dès lors j'ai eu la possibilité de regarder un film en ligne et un déjà enregistré sur le disque dur et je n'ai plus eu de problème de saccade. De plus il me semble qu'il chauffe moins.
Cela dit j'ai un peu soucis que ce ne soit qu'un pansement sur une blessure, un moyen de contourner le vrai problème... (Puisque au regard du hardware il ne devrait pas y avoir ce soucis). Mais bon, je ne veux pas trop perdre de temps avec ça et encore moins en faire perdre puisqu'à présent ça fonctionne.
