[résolu] mettre gnome 3 à côté de unity

bonjour ,
(ou plutôt bonsoir)

je cherche à mettre gnome 3 en double avec unity sur ubuntu 17.04

possible / pas possible  ? des problèmes ? comment faire ?

Il ne faut pas prendre la session Wayland, à part ça normalement il n'y a pas de réelle différence entre la manière dont GNOME et Unity reconnaissent les écrans

ben oui mais ça change rien , j'ai même pas l'affichage du choix unity/gnome : écran noir
je peux quitter la  session mais c'est tout . après : écran noir

"l'affichage du choix unity/gnome" il s'affiche à l'endroit où tu rentres ton mot de passe, quand la session n'est pas encore ouverte, comment pourrais-tu faire un "retour à Unity" si tu n'as même pas de quoi renseigner ton mot de passe ? neutral
Au mieux tu décris mal le problème, au pire tu n'as pas remarqué que l'installation de GNOME Shell te demandait de faire un choix entre LightDM et GDM3. Essaye

sudo apt install --reinstall lightdm

pour voir ?

d'abord il faut que j'explique une chose :

j'ai installé ubuntu de telle sorte qu'il démarre directement sans demander de mot de passe .
j'accède donc directement au bureau .

le seul moyen pour moi d'effectuer la commutation unity/gnome , c'est de sélectionner "déconnexion" dans le menu systeme .
les options "verrouiller" et "alain" (mon prénom) me donnent un écran qui me demande un mot de passe mais ,
toujours pas de choix pour la commutation unity / gnome .

et , en l'occurence , ta commande , roschan , n'a rien donné .

je n'ai toujours pas l'occasion de commuter entre les deux bureaux  et "déconnexion" me donne un écran noir .

toujours pas de changement mais j'ai trouvé ceci :

bureau gnome

qui m'a permis d'installer l'environnement complet gnome .

malgré tout , toujours pas de commutation unity / gnome

j'ai réussi à supprimer le démarrage automatique .

j'ai , désormais , l'interface qui me permet de choisir mon bureau .

malgré tout :
- gnome (par défaut)
- gnome classic
- gnome (wayland)
me donnent un écran noir
les sorties TTY1 à TTY6 (ctrl alt f1 à f6) inclus ne donnent rien ( écran noir )
TTY7 (ctrl alt  f7) me rebascule  sur l'écran d'accueil où je peux choisir  mon bureau 

- unity 8 me donne mon fonds  d'écran mais aucun bureau ne s'affiche , même pas le bureau unity .

seule fonctionne l'entrée "UBUNTU" qui me donne le bureau unity classique de ubuntu 17.04

là , je sèche . j'ai fait tout ce que j'ai pu . quoi faire d'autre ?

avec une erreur : DVI-D-0 disconnected  primary
alors que mon écran y est branché
peut être y a  t-il une confusion avec le port dvi de ma carte mère (DVI-SL)
par opposition avec le port DVI-D de ma carte graphique (RX550 AMD)
