[Résolu] Boot Device not found après installation d'Ubuntu

Bonjour,
j'ai installé Ubuntu avec la procédure standard : Try ubuntu, puis Installer ubuntu en écrasant windows. il m'a demandé de redémarrer. mais, au redémarrage il m'affiche un écran noir avec :
Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your Hard disk
Hard Disk (3F0)

Mon matériel :
HP Notebook sous windows 10 famille version 1703
Intel Core i5
12 Go de mémoire vive
64 bits

Version d'Ubuntu installée :
Ubuntu 16.04
64 bits

Que dois-je faire ?

Bonjour..
Un boot-info serait utile.
A tout hasard, appuies sur les touches esc f9  ? pour avoir une affichage des fichiers de boot.

Utiliser REFIND au lieu du GRUB https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind . Aidez à vous faire dépanner en suivant le guide et en utilisant les outils de diagnostic J'ai perdu ma gomme. Désolé pour les fautes d'orthographes non corrigées.

j'ai remis "try ubuntu" pour faire le boot-info facilement. Et ça donne ça :

Dans le rapport de boot-info, on voit que le boot est prévu en EFI.

  Il faut que tu le changes pour qu'il soit en legacy ou csm afin de lire le contenu du mbr qui me semble bien constitué.

J'ai une petite question bête avant de faire une bêtise :
dans mon menu Boot Options
j'ai bien vu que "Legacy boot order" était grisé et non "UEFI boot order".
j'ai changé l'option du "Legacy support" de "disabled" pour "enabled"
"Legacy Boot order" n'est plus grisé.
mais je ne sais pas comment griser (disabled) le UEFI car dans cette configuration il a toujours la priorité sur le Legacy (d'après ce que me dit la boite d'info)

Je ne suis trop surpris que ton ordinateur ancien favorise le EFI par rapport au legacy qui date du siècle passé.


Si tu souhaites  installer en legacy, il va valoir que tu installes la version 32 bits qui n'a pas le logiciel EFI ou que tu supprimes ce logiciel EFI de ton support d'installation.
Pour cela, il devrait suffire que tu renommes le répertoire EFI avec un autre nom.

Ma proposition actuelle est que tu tentes de réparer en fabricant le ficher manquant.

J'ai un peu dit n'importe quoi en te parlant de fichier manquant. Ton disque est formaté msdos.
il ne peux absolument pas booter en EFI!
Peux-tu vérifier qu'il boote en legacy bien que le legacy ne soit pas prioritaire?
Peux-tu donner la référence commerciale exacte de ton HP notebook afin de faire une recherche ciblée dans le forum?

Salut,

Perso, ce qui m'étonnera toujours, c'est que certains réussissent à faire une installation en mode Legacy sur disque ms-dos (ton cas), et que lorsqu'on demande un boot-info, il soit proposé en mode uefi (ton cas encore).

Soit les PC sont hantés, soit quelque chose est bricolé dans le bios entre l'installation et le boot-info. Il faudrait m'expliquer un jour ce mystère.

Oui, c'est vrai on voit çà souvent! .
Une piste peut-être; L'utilisateur obligé de passer par le bios pour changer l'ordre de boot. Et c'est à ce moment là qu'il change aussi le mode de démarrage, car la machine ne veut pas démarrer une session live dans le mode d'installation précédent. ??? .

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!...  Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

Bonjour.
Une autre piste est que le bios  indique que  le boot prioritaire à utiliser est EFI. Comme pas mal de clés USB sont en fat32 et qu'elles contiennent le répertoire EFI, cela boot parfaitement bien.

Puis que l'installateur en présence d'un disque formaté gpt  fasse une bonne installation EFI mais qu'en présence d'un disque formaté ms-dos, il fasse une installation LEGACY.

Et le modèle exacte de mon HP est 15-ay121nf.

Si tu supprimes ou si tu renommes (c'est mieux) le dossier efi avec un autre nom, la clé ne peut booter qu'en Legacy. J'ai testé cette astuce il y a peu.

Il faut que tu lances un OS puis que tu branches ta clé usb puis que tu regardes son contenu. Le dossier EFI est au premier niveau. Tu peux le renommer en IFE

Je n'arrive pas à renommer le dossier EFI.

J'ai ouvert le DVD d'installation avec un PC sous windows. L'option renommer n'est pas présent. Le dossier EFI est en lecture seule et décocher 'Lecture seule" ne fonctionne pas. J'ai essayé de renommer en ligne de commande. Après plusieurs tentative pour trouver la bonne syntaxe, il m'a affiché "accès refusé".

J'essaye à tout hasard la même chose en ligne de commande avec Ubuntu sauf que je n'arrive même pas à lister des dossier qui ne sont pas sur le lecteur principal et je j'ai aucune idée de la ligne de commande à taper. J'ai vu dans la documentation sur la console (3.6) que  mv permet de renommer. Je ne sais pas quel est le chemin d'accès  pour le lecteur CD/DVD. Je n'arrive même pas à renommer en ligne de commande un dossier test que j'ai crée (avec le clic droit).

Si ton DVD n'est pas réinscriptible, c'est fichu.
mais on va faire autrement.
Il me semble que tu as une bonne installation legacy. il faut donc que tu ailles trafiquer ton bios pour lui dire que efi n'est pas priortaire et que c'est le mode legacy ou csm ou hérité qu'il convient d'utiliser.

Je n'ai pas trouvé comment lui indiquer que EFI n'est pas prioritaire. J'ai posté une question en ce sens dans le forum d'aide d'HP mais je n'ai aucune réponse.

Je n'ai pas de clé. Mon fichier ISO est sur DVD (en 1er position). Et le problème de la priorité De l'UEFI sur le Legacy est toujours présent.

Bonjour.
On ne va pas se compliquer la vie.
A) Tu rebootes avec ton support d'installation.
B) Tu choisis "essayer avant d'installer".
C) Tu lances gparted et avec gparted.
    1. Tu supprimes toutes les partitions du disque dur.
    2.  Tu fabriques une table de partition gpt en utilisant l'onglet periphériques.
    3. Tu fabriques une partition fat32 de 35 Mo.
    4. Tu mets le drapeau boot sur cette partition.
D)  Tu lances ton installation de ubuntu.

Autre solution: tu regardes si ton bios est bien à jour. S'il ne l'est pas, tu le mets à jour et tu vois si tu peux enfin booter en legacy.

Merci. ça a fonctionné.
J'ai gravé Gparted sur un CD puisqu'il est impossible de supprimer les partitions en cours d'utilisation.
Et rebooté avec Gpartded
Puis, j'ai fais comme indiqué.
Enfin, après Installation d'Ubuntu (Try Ubuntu, puis Installer Ubuntu) le redémarrage c'est fait sans problème.

L'important c'est que cela ait marché.
Tu as simplement gaspillé un CD, pourtant j'avais pris la précaution de te dire de booter avec  le support d'installation et de lancer gparted car gparted est présent dans ce support.
Il aurait suffit que tu cliques sur les partitions ayant un verrou et que tu demandes l'action de démontage.
