Lenteur au démarrage de 18.04
Bonjour
Je viens d'installer la 18.04 sur mon Dell Latitude D830, il était sur la 14.04 qui démarrait du feu de Dieu. installation avec suppression du contenu du disque SSD. Il lui faut 5 minutes pouir démarrer et ouvrir la session. Après la vitesse d'exécution est normale.

?
Donc merci de montrer :
sudo systemd-analyze
et pour voir l’enchaînement du démarrage des services :
sudo systemd-analyze blame

Il n'est pas nécessaire de lancer systemd-analyze en mode sudo. C'est peut-être ce qui provoque cette erreur.
N'oubliez pas de consulter la documentation pour vous donner un coup de main !

C'est pareil sans sudo.
En fait il faut 3 ' pour arriver à l'ouverture de session, et 2 pour que la session s'ouvre.
D'autre part j'utilise ce portable pour l'animation du club informatique que j'anime, et quand je branche le vidéo projecteur, ça plante la bécane. Il faut l'arrêter à chaud, et ça repart pour 5 minutes.
Donc je suis en train d'y installer la 16.04 (avant hier je suis parti de la 14.0) et en attendant une version plus rapide de la 18 et/ ou un nouveau portable, je vais en rester là. Donc abandon. Dommage...

Bon la 16.04 est installée, mais manque de pot, elle met aussi 5 minutes à démarrer. Mais après, c'est fluide, rapide, je retrouve mon interface Unity qui me va bien, tout sous la main dans le lanceur, super. Je la trouve même plus nerveuse que la 14.04, démarrage mis à part. Enfin n’exagérons pas tout de même.
Avec un intel core 2 Duo CPU T7300 2 Go +2 et la quantité faramineuse de Ram de 2,9 Gio on ne fait pas de miracles ! Peut être qu'il me faudrait dénicher un peu de Ram pour la porter à 8 Go si la CM le permet...disque dur Sata SSD de 128 GB qu'est ce que ça serait avec un DD standard !

Ça c'est un service systemd qui n'arrive pas à démarrer ou un périphérique qui bloque (voir aussi le contenu de fstab)
Un retour de :
sudo journalctl --boot | grep systemd
pourrait aider.

Il y a effectivement une fin de boot un peu heurtée.
Tu as un réglage de luminosité ? Il semble que les Dell râlent : https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/8479
Sinon 2.9Go avec Unity c'est serré (et Gnome consomme aussi si tu prends une 18.04)

Bon je n'avais pas vu que tu était repassé sous 16.04.
Est-ce que tu utilise LVM ? C'est connu pour ralentir le processus de démarrage avec systemd.
Le truc qui prend beaucoup de temps c'est apt-daily.service. Il faudrait peut-être essayer ce qui est préconisé dans la première réponse ici :

Je vous remercie tous les deux, sympa les amis. Là il est tard après une journée de travail au potager, le vieux doit de poser, à ma grande honte ça pourrait être devant une vielle bouse à la télé. Demain je vais me renseigner sur LVM (encore plus honte de n'avoir aucune idée de ce que c'est que ce truc je crois que je vais être obligé de me taper ça) et le réglage de la luminosité.
En fait je me demande si je ne vais pas refiler mon dell D830 à mon petit fils de 9 ans avec Lubuntu dessus, et me faire un cadeau de Noël du genre de ce truc ou celui ci mais ça coûterait presque aussi cher que le changement complet du système de filtration de la cuisine, avec aspiration depuis le grenier. Je me demande si je ne vais pas choisir un voyage à Malte avec ma chérie.

Je leur ai installé Ubuntu il y a quelques années. Ils ont changé de matos et ils ont une 18.04 qui tourne aux petits oignons, je l'ai vu se connecter à sa propre session, un jeune Ubuntero de 9 ans. En fait je crois que à part ma chérie qui est sur un Windows 7 ancien, mes sœurs aînées, ma fille et sa famille petits enfants compris sont sous Ubuntu. Ah oui j'ai aussi une autre fille grande joueuse devant l'éternel qui est sous W.
Le feuilleton de m... Magellan a été un bon prémisse à ma nuit est passé, au dodo.

Nom de dlà celui là il est bien tentant. En plus j'aime bien les Thinkpad. J'en ai acheté pour l'assos dont je suis trésorier, il a peut être 15 ans et il b... encore (avec une Lubuntu, certes).
