Non et non : l'installation que je vois dans le Boot-Info du post #74 n'a pas été faite depuis une session live démarrée en Legacy mode (mode non-EFI) : elle a été faite depuis une session démarrée en mode EFI.
Je suis obligé d’alourdir la procédure par une étape de vérification :
1) démarrer une session live en mode Legacy (non-EFI)
2) vérifier que la session live est bien démarrée en mode Legacy en passant la commande suivante dans une terminal (source) :
[ -d /sys/firmware/efi ] && echo "Session EFI" || echo "Session non-EFI"
Le résultat doit donner "Session non-EFI" sinon ce n'est pas la peine d'aller plus loin
3) lancer l'installation depuis cette session live (double clic sur l'icône de l'installateur qui est sur le bureau de la session live). Sélectionner "Effacer le disque et installer Ubuntu" à l'étape type d’installation.

ça s'est bon donc il ne faut pas surtout pas redémarrer et lancer l'installation depuis cette session dont on est sûr qu'elle est démarrée en mode non-EFI

Comme l'installation se fera depuis une session démarrée en "Legacy mode", l'installateur fera automatiquement le changement du type de partitionnement pour le passer en MSDOS (au lieu du type GPT actuel) et il créera une partition unique sur le disque : la partition racine. Il créera également un chargeur d'amorçage de Grub dans le MBR du disque dur et ça va marcher.

Je reformule :
Si le résultat donne "Session EFI", ce n'est pas la peine d'aller plus loin (parce que tu ferais l'installation en mode EFI qu'on ne veut pas)
Si le résultat donne "Session non-EFI", tu peux lancer l'installation
EDIT : je ne sais pas quoi faire de la vue de Gparted que tu as postée: je ne vois pas en quoi elle peut aider.

Bon pour le GParted je voulais savoir si ce la correspondait a cela

Je ne pige pas pourquoi tu arrives à faire tes mises à jour alors que tu n'arrives pas à faire un Boot-Info (*). Il faudrait que tu réessaies de faire ce Boot-Info après les mises à jour.
(*) explications : assez souvent, les gens n'arrivent pas à faire le Boot-Info parce qu'il n'ont pas d'accès internet (pb de WiFi) mais ce n'est pas ton cas : tu as l'accès à internet puisque tu fais les mises à jour.

Enfin, l'installation parfaite en mode non-EFI !
Ce n'est pas la première fois qu'on galère avec un ordinateur de bureau de chez Acer mais celui-là était particulièrement coriace.
Si ton problème est résolu, je te propose de passer la discussion en "résolu" en procédant comme suit :
1) te connecter sur le forum
2) cliquer sur "Modifier" en bas à droite de ton PREMIER post
3) modifier le titre de la discussion pour qu'il devienne :
[Résolu] Ordi planté boot et accès bios impossible
EDIT : si tu dois installer dans le futur une autre distribution Linux (en plus) ou si tu dois installer Windows en dual-boot avec ton install actuel, il faudra absolument que tu fasses cette nouvelle installation en mode non-EFI afin qu'elle soit dans le même mode.

En effet, je le trouve lent au demarage est-ce que cela vient de ça ?

Ne tiens pas compte de ce truc qui te chagrine : cela ne te concerne pas. C'est pour les vieux Bios tout pourris.
