[Résolu] Touchpad non détecté et non fonctionnel (HP G6-1247SF)

Bonjour la communauté Ubuntu big_smile

J'espère que vous allez bien, ainsi que vos proches par ces temps qui court!

Je viens vers vous aujourd'hui car j'ai un souci avec un ordinateur de récupération un peu ancien, sur lequel était installé 1 Windows 7. J'ai changé la RAM pour mettre plus et le HDD pour 1 SSD, puis installé une Ubuntu Bionic 18.04.

Sauf que le Touchpad Synaptics SYN1E3F n'est pas détecté du tout et donc non fonctionnel OF COURSE!
J'ai essayé plein de choses (paramètres de boot i8402.machin_chose_divers, psmouse_machin_chose, acpi_osi=machin_chose, installation de kernels plus récents (4.18.xxx et 5.4.0 au lieu du 4.15.112), installation de kernel HWE), rien n'y fait, il refuse obstinément d'être chopé, capturé, je veux détecté et de fonctionner!


La cochonnerie de bête sur laquelle est branché le Touchpad, je vous le donne en 1000, c'est un laptop HP - ne soyez pas étonné SVP! - donc: HP Pavilion G6-1247SF

As-tu testé en session Live d'Ubuntu (essayer sans installer) ?

Si oui, le touchpad fonctionne-t-il  en session Live ?


OS: Ubuntu 22.04 64 bits + Windows 11 64 bits en dualboot (BIOS UEFI, Secure Boot activé et table de partitions GPT)

oui, j'ai oublié de le préciser, mais excatement, j'ai testé en Live USB d'Ubuntu, que dalle! NO TOUCHPAD!

Le pire dans tout ça, c'est qu'il y a quand même bien un début de détection du Touchapd, comme me le rapporte la commande

Je m'arrache les cheveux là, déjà qu'il m'en reste plus beaucoup!

Faudrait peut-être que j'essaye avec une autre distro pour voir! Voire avec un Windows en USB?

Rebelote - hé hé hé - résultat: ITOU ==> KO

C'est la journée auj!! sur mon Clevo, impossible d'ouvrir ma session utilisateur... après 3 fermetures intempestives.... problème avec mes fichiers ~/Xauthority et ~/.ICEauthority .... problème d'autorisations ... vu dans ~/.Xsession-errors.... bordel, 2 heures à ramer pour ça... j'sais même pas comment c'est arrivé! BREF, retour on the fofo!

Y a encore ça que j'ai pas testé:

J'verrais ça demain, j'suis KO moi aussi là.

j'ai esayé plusieurs, mais sans résultat

dans les Paramètres => Souris, je ne vois pas le Touchpad, uniquement la souris Logitech en USB

OK, j'apporte des news, c'est résolu!

Le G6-1247sf que j'utilisais a subi un démontage complet pour nettoyage du ventirad car le ventilateur commençait à être bruyant, et effectivement, il y avait un bon gros paquet de poussière collé contre la sortie du radiateur.
Au niveau du Touchpad, sous le cache du haut où il y avait le clavier, j'ai vérifié que toutes les nappes (2) étaient correctement branchées, ce qui était bien le cas .

De plus, j'avais acheté à bas prix sur LBC un double de ce PC en prévision d'un changement du couvercle de l'écran, qui avait été fissuré par le précédent utilisateur, en vue du changement de celui-ci. J'avais donc à disposition un double que je n'avais pas encore testé: il ne manquait à celui-ci que les barrettes, le HDD, la batterie & le chargeur.

Donc, hier, je me suis dit qu'il était temps de m'y mettre, et après avoir mis le SSD, les barrettes RAM et le chargeur, j'ai démarré ce 2nd PC. Au boot, message d'erreur, à propos du FAN du CPU, et après retrait sommaire du clavier, effectivement, je constate que le FAN est HS, il ne tourne pas.

Je me dis pas grave, je vais prendre la carte-mère (CM) du 1er, et la mettre dans le second. Donc démontage du 2nd PC, mise en place de la CM du 1er, rebranchement de toutes les nappes et câbles de la CM (LEDs, USB, Power, Touchapad, écran), repose du SSD, barrettes RAM, chargeur, et roule.
Sauf que, au démarrage d'Ubuntu, je constate que l'écran est fortement dégradé: couleur toute pourrie vers le rose.

Donc rebelote démontage du PC, démontage des 2 ventirads des 2 CMs, démontage des 2 ventilateurs des  ventirads, et:
- pose du ventilateur provenant du 1er PC pour utilisation sur le 2ème PC;
- repastage du CPU et du GPU de la 2ème CM du 2ème PC;
Nouvelle pose de la 2ème CM sur le 2ème PC, avec tout le châssis donc du 2ème PC, rebranchement de toutes les nappes et câbles de la CM (LEDs, USB, Power, Touchapad, écran), repose du SSD, barrettes RAM, chargeur, et enfin test.

Et ça fonctionne, l'écran est OK et le Touchpad est de nouveau fonctionnel.


Pour infos, les 2 CMS ne sont pas tout à fait identiques:
- celle du 1er PC (couleur rouge) vient avec un CPU Intel Core i5-2430M (identifié par le code SR04W), avec une CG intégrée Intel HD3000:

- celle du 2nd PC (couleur grise), dont j'ai repris tout le châssis + la CM et que j'utilise maintenant actuellement, vient avec 1 CPU Pentium P6200, disposant aussi d'un CG, Intel HD Graphics sur le même plan (c'est une  GMA 5700M HD???), mais la CM a aussi une carte ATi séparée soudé à la CM.
