du coup j'ai un doute...

je re tente d'abord une installation avec  le partitionnement ou le boot-info?

En tout cas je t'ai détaillé un partitionnement manuel qui devrait fonctionner (pour installation) sur ton ordinateur si le disque dur/SSD fait plus de 100 Go.

oui 256 Go en SSD... donc ça devrait le faire....

il va falloir que je passe ce passage de partitionnement... du coup quand j'en suis à cet étape je vire tout l'existant actuel (le FreeDOS?)

Je te conseille un partitionnement manuel :

1- partition en mode EFI de 1 Go (indispensable pour le boot EFI)
2- partition mode SWAP de taille autant que ta taille de RAM (permettra plus tard de peut-être faire fonctionner l'hibernation).
3- partition mode EXT4 de 30 à 40 Go avec point de montage /
4- partition mode EXT4 du reste du disque dur avec point de montage /home

Et là ça devrait booter.

Salut Ludovic, MissNav semble être un(e) débutant(e). Je crois qu'il va falloir que tu lui détailles la chose à ta façon. En attendant je donne le lien avec la documentation partitionner manuellement avec l'installeur d'Ubuntu

Salut Ludovic, MissNav semble être un(e) débutant(e). Je crois qu'il va falloir que tu lui détailles la chose à ta façon. En attendant je donne le lien avec la documentation partitionner manuellement avec l'installeur d'Ubuntu

Missnav, tu as déjà réussi une installation mais il ne manque que le boot.

En fait boot-info te signale d'activer la bonne partition de boot dans ton BIOS-EFI. Il va falloir que tu tripatouilles dans ton BIOS-EFI…

@Ayral et L_d_v_c@ : une installation très simple en automatique est peut être souhaitable dans ce cas, l'installateur créera les partitions nécessaire sur l'ensemble du disque (une seule partition contenant /home et /). Il est possible ensuite de modifier le partitionnement. Ca laissera le temps à Missnav de se familiariser un peu avec l'environnement.

Pour l'instant Ubuntu est installé 2 fois, sur nvme0n1p6 et nvme0n1p7. Retire ta clé et essaie de booter.

Normalement grub devrait apparaître. Si c'est le cas appuie sur e pour entrer modprobe.blacklist=nouveau, comme tu l'as fait pour la session live. Et dis nous ce qui fonctionne. Tu peux également essayer d'installer le pilote nVidia en allant dans le Gestionnaire de mises à jour, Paramètres, Pilotes additionnels.

Je connais mal boot-info mais la partition EFI semble avoir été créée. Ce n'est vraiment qu'une configuration du BOOT-EFI semblerait-il… Il faut entrer dans le BIOS à la recherche de la configuration de partition de BOOT.

Oui NicoApi73, il semblerait que  la partition EFI semble avoir été créée. Pour moi ce n'est que le BIOS-EFI à configurer pour booter…

Je pense que c'est déjà configuré, il faut attendre le retour de Missnav : pour le savoir, il suffit qu'elle essaie de booter et vérifier que grub apparaît.

Moi je pense qu'Ubuntu est installé mais que le BIOS-EFI n'est pas encore configuré pour booter dessus.
Il faudra également nous occuper du paramètre à passer à GRUB.

j'ai enlevé la clé et j'ai essayer de booter.... mais ça ne fonctionne pas.... il m'affiche un "no bootable device... insert boot disk and presss ant key"...

A la lecture de vos commentaires j'en déduis qu'il s'agit donc du BIOS-EFI qui n'est pas configuré???

et oui je confirme que je suis bel et bien débutante sur linux... comme vous vous doutez
