Je préfère cette réponse. J'avais failli comprendre que c'étaient les même valeurs.

C'est arrivé comme ça de but en blanc ou est-ce suite a une nouvelle installation d'Ubuntu ?

Kubuntu user qui aimerait passer définitivement au bureau standard.

Oui,  hormis des mises à jour courantes chez Windows et sur Ubuntu

Retente ta réparation windows en utilisant une autre méthode.

Mais à cette étape
4. Reconstruisez la mémoire BCD
Étape 1. Tapez chaque ligne de commande et appuyez sur Entrée à chaque fois :
au lieu de choisir l anglais   en-us, tu choisis le français fr-fr

j'ai rééssayé la clé de réparation, le 1er écran d'erreur avant d'afficher des fonctions inopérantes c'est :

Impossible d'avoir l'invit de commande, j'ai seulement 8 fonctions qui ne fonctionnent pas qui apparaissent après le message d'erreur kernel.

Je crains que tu ne sois pas bien passé dans la réparation de windows car le but est justement de réparer

start up repair
Mais pratiquement, ce qui est proposé  se fait en choisissant la ligne de commande

1. Entrez dans l'invite de commande à partir des options avancées

Étape 1. Insérez le disque d'installation de Windows 11/10/8/7 ou la clé USB d'installation dans le PC > démarrez à partir du disque ou de la clé USB.

Étape 2. Cliquez sur "Réparer votre ordinateur" ou appuyez sur F8 sur l'écran "Installer maintenant".

Étape 3. Cliquez sur "Dépannage" > "Options avancées" > "Invite de commande".

Si trop dur, il y a toujours la possibilité de restaurer windows

Le souci c'est que ces options ne me sont pas proposées...  J'ai 8 fonctions après le message d'erreur mais pas la réparation ni la restauration. Je n'ai pas l'écran options en tableau tel que sur le tuto.

Je suis peu habitué à réparer le démarrage de windows.
D'ailleurs ce n'est le but du forum.
De ce que je comprends des ennuis de démarrage windows, ils n'ont pas su fabriquer un outil de réparation efficace.
Si l'administration n'y voit pas d'inconvéniant, poste tout tes ecrans windows  si la capture  est possible.
Cependant, à mon avis, réinstaller windows se fait en une heure.

Effectivement si ce n'est pas un problème GRUB, je stoppe le fil. Réinstaller reste une option, mais je ne voudrais pas que w10 sabote ma partition Ubuntu que j'utilise sur toutes mes sessions. W10 était présent lors de mon achat seconde main, je l'ai conservé au cas où un usage pro le nécessiterait.

Je reste étonné que windows soit cassé, en plus du fichier EFI windows qui a un problème.
Je te conseillerais de faire une sauvegarde de tes fichiers windows et linux avant une réinstallation de windows, et après réinstallation de faire un rapport smart pour voir si les compteurs ont bougé.
A noter que le simple démarrage sur une clé windows met l'ordre de démarrage en pagaille (constaté sur mon pc perso avec une iso win10), donc c'est normal si tu ne bootes plus sur linux après, faut indiquer à nouveau le bon fichier efi dans le BIOS (ça peut aussi se faire en ligne de commande)
Pour éviter d'écraser linux à l'install de windows, là j'ai jamais fait, j'ai toujours installé windows en premier.

Je pense que c'est le fichier /boot/efi/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/BCD qui est cassé ou que les pointeurs qu'il contient vont sur des emplacements qui ont changé.
La seule façon de lire son contenu est la commande approximative 

bcdedit /store X:/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/BCD

Mais, même si tu postes, je ne suis pas certain de savoir voir ce qui ne va pas et surtout savoir réparer
C'est pour cela que j'ai proposé des tutos de refabrication.
Cependant, on peut essayer puisque tu sembles ne pas avoir un besoin immédiat de windows.

On peut très  bien installer windows après ubuntu sans perdre ubuntu.
1) Sauver les données windows depuis ubuntu.
2) Supprimer les partitions NTFS.
3) Lancer l'installation de windows en mode personnalisé.
4) Remodifier le boot pour choisir ubuntu.
  a) Soit depuis le bios s'il sait proposer les fichiers de boot.
  b) Soit depuis une live-usb avec la commande  efibootmgr -o n
  c) Soit en laissant booter Windows et lui dire de lancer ubuntu à son arrêt et faire la commande ci-dessus depuis ubuntu.
  d) Soit demander à windows d'installer refind: https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/refind#depuis_windows

Merci pour toutes ces infos. Jusqu'alors en toute sécurité j'ai installé Ubuntu après Windows, ou bien sur un deuxième disque dur.
J'ai booté sur l'iso complet windows via Ventoy (merci tontondisco), mais seulement l'installation m'est proposée, pas les autres options...
Une piste : mon ordinateur était une seconde main... Est-ce qu'il ne s'agirait pas d'un windows craqué, repéré et ... zigouillé ?

Problème c'est une ligne de commande pour la console Windows, pas ubuntu...
Quand je vais me décider, je ferai une réinstallation. Un doute par contre, si le W10 est légal, sa licence sera-t-elle conservée... Clairement je n'investirai pas dans un OS que je n'utilise pas actuellement.

If your UEFI firmware does not allow to change the boot order, change the default boot entry of the Windows bootloader.

La licence est normalement liée à ta carte mère. Donc après réinstallation tu n'auras pas la demande de licence.

Il ne s'agit pas d'un ordinateur acheté complet avec OS. C'est un ordinateur DIY assemblé, carte mère TUF-B450M-PLUS-GAMING-ASUS-4401.

Pour le premier point, tu me surprends, Tu as du faire un mauvais choix de l'iso à télécharger mais je  n'ai pas répété depuis six mois.

Si s'est un windows bricolé, cela pourrait expliquer. Dans ce cas  installe un windows officiel.

Une autre piste, j'ai des notifications d'une mise à jour du système à chaque démarrage, alors qu'aucune n'a été installé, car désormais un redémarrage est demandé. Grub avait été mis à jour en décembre. Mais bon bootinfo et bootrepair auraient répéré les erreurs ?

Je les entre régulièrement, je suis acculturé à l'ancienne paquets deb, pas encore aux SNAP !
Je vais peut-être essayer d'upgrader vers ubuntu 23.10, en dérogeant à ma fidélité pour les versions LTS...

La notification d'une mise à jour logicielle est toujours présente.
Autre piste, alors que j'ai édité le fichier grub.cfg pour réduire le temps de démarrage sur ubuntu de 10 à 5 secondes par défaut, les 10 secondes restent paramétrées.
