C'est le descriptif de ce qui va se passer si tu fais la "Réparation recommandée" de Boot-Repair. Cette proposition est honnête et je t'encourage à l'accepter. Concrètement, tu refais exactement ce que tu as fait pour faire ce Boot-Info mais cette fois, au lieu de cliquer sur le bouton "Create a BootInfo summary", tu cliques sur le bouton "Recommended Repair"
Si ça marche, ne crie pas victoire parce que cette réparation est provisoire et il convient de faire une réparation définitive que je t'indiquerai.

Je ne sais pas t'aider à réinstaller Windows 8.

J'ai regardé pratiquement  tout sur le sujet et tes propres recherches sur ce PB.......PPPOOOUFFFF !
quel bazar.....Perso, même si j'ai fais d'autres erreurs( provoquées ou pas) celle la ! Non ! Il est vrai que,  pour un novice, dont je fais encore parti C'est tentant de faire la deuxième option de l'installateur et on plonge......  dans la mélasse  sad
On dirait qu'en faisant "installer a la place" ça a le "mérite" de supprimer tout ce qui concerne W$ volontairement ou pas ? va savoir? Cette option devrait être supprimée de l'installateur ou modifiée de manière a ce qu'il n'y ai pas d’ambiguïté lors de cette manip parce que telle qu'elle est en l’état ça prête a confusion  roll
Ce qui est étonnant c'est que depuis 2 ans que ce PB existe, cet installateur n'a pas été modifié d'un iota ! Qu'est-ce qu'on attends ? Que plusieurs centaines de milliers de gars qui veulent installer ou faire une modifs dans le choix de ses OSs préférés, se retrouve dans cette situation?

Dont acte.....J'aurais du préciser le fond de ma pensée....La moindre des choses quand on tente une installe ou modifie QQchose dans une installe, on s'informe d'abord, on n'y va pas la fleur au fusil ! C'est ce qu'au moins j'ai appris dans l'assos du libre a Bxls . Faut quand même dire que cet installateur est piégeux........

Salut les Copains!.

Oui, et a vouloir crier sur tous les toits que Linux çà s'installe les doigts dans le nez ...
Lorsqu'il qu'il n'y a rien sur le disque c'est vrai, il n'y a qu'a laisser faire l'installateur.
Mais.
Si il y a déjà un autre OS.
Si cet Os est installé en mode UEFI.
Si l'utilisateur novice décide d'installé sur un hdd externe, même vide (En mode Bios Legacy, première partie de grub proposé à installé dans le secteur de boot du hdd interne, je suppose qu'il y a une autre "farce" proposée par l'UEFI?.)

Et bien!!!.   Bonjour la facilité !!!...

Et puis comme beaucoup d'utilisateurs de n'importe quoi, on ne lit pas la notice (ici la doc Ubuntu.fr) et on monte le meuble, pardon, on installe le Linux et ...

Pourtant des contributeurs comme malbo, pour ne citer que lui, font ce qu'ils peuvent pour aider à faire les choses dans les règles de l'art ...
Mais c'est quand même devenu bien plus compliqué qu'avant . Surtout avec l'UEFI.

J'en ai fais des pataquès, parce que j'ai sauté une ligne de la notice et après,  M'sieur Siouplait......
Bon, maintenant, ça va mieux,enfin j’espère..... Par contre j'ai remarqué un phénomène probablement générationnel, ça va beaucoup plus vite a enregistrer de nos jours chez les jeunes que
chez les anciens, c'est ce qu'il me semble? d’où la précipitation et les erreurs qui ne sont pas dues que par la non compréhension . J'aurais du mettre les mains dans le cambouis il y a trente ans.....
P'têt que j'aurais été un cador  lol  lol

Jai desinstalle Ubuntu de mon ordi partitionne ac windows 7 et pour retablir le demarrage de windows jai utilise boot-repair avec les options par default. Cependant, quand je redemarre jai une erreur unknown filesystem et grub rescue mode. Je suppose que boot-repair na pas marche mais quand jessaye de choisir les options avancees du logiciel je ny ai pas acces, je ne peux donc pas remettre le mbr de windows .. Pouvez vous maider ?

Il faut voir comment tout çà était installé, ce qu'il reste de l'installation de Ubuntu, si toute foi il reste quelque chose...

Alors, dans l'OS qui reste, (W$7) sur ta machine. En session live Ubuntu. Tu vas trouver les log que Boot-Repair fait lorsqu'on l'utilise.
Dans la racine de la partition Système de ton W$, tu vas trouver un dossier "boot-sav" tu déroules et tu vas trouver un fichier texte " RESULTS.txt" .
C'est la copie du rapport boot info que Boot-Repair fait lorsque on lutilise.
Si tu veux bien en poster le contenu ici entre les balises code <> en bleu au dessus de la fenêtre qui sert à écrire les messages.
On va voir ce qui ne va pas.

Tu dis avoir désinstallé Ubuntu du dual boot. Tu aurais du utiliser Os Uninstaller,  c'est un outil écrit par le concepteur de Boot-Repair.
Il aurait restauré le MBR de ton W$ , ce qui aurait permis à celui-ci de démarrer directe. À la condition, bien entendu que le boot loader de ton W$ ne soit pas cassé.
Dans ce cas, il y a affichage d'un message d'erreur de type W$ . Boot-Repair ne peut plus rien faire pour W$. Il faut réparer avec les outils W$ .
Mais çà ne semble pas être ton cas . Un Grub rescue, c'est une erreur Grub (Linux) donc pas une erreur  W$ .

Si tu pouvais donner les caractéristiques de ton matos , portable,  PC ? as tu essayé la commande suivante en terminal :

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade 

  pour vérifier ? regarde aussi dans la configuration du gestionnaire de mise a jour , si par hasard il n'y aurait pas un paquet qui bloque ta mise a jour ??
Surtout STP ne pas utiliser grub-customizer n'importe comment  , merci  smile

Avec le MultiSystem ...

Il y a un  "mic mac conflictuel" avec les versions de Grub. Mais installés où?

Si on pouvait avoir une copie du contenu de /boot/grub/grub.cfg  de l'os qui sert à faire les clés MultiSystem ?.  Celui-là même qui pose problème.

Je préfère "trifouiller" dans les fichiers de configuration de Grub, plutôt qu'utiliser Grub-Customizer ... Bon ,çà n'engage que moi .

Bon, partant de ce long questionnement j'en viens aujourd'hui à essayer d'installer une ubuntu dans une machine qui loge 2 DD de 3 TB sur une carte que je croyais être un contrôleur RAID-0/1. Bref.
