[résolu] Blender 2.93.5 ne se lance pas
Bonjour,
Je suis sous Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Intel® Core™ i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz × 4
Intel® HD Graphics 620 (Kaby Lake GT2)
64bits
J'ai installé Blender 2.93.5 via Logiciels, et lorsque je clique sur Lancer, l'icône Blender s'affiche dans la barre des icônes, une fenêtre grise apparaît puis disparaît immédiatement.
Je ne sais pas quoi faire pour résoudre le problème. J'avoue que j'ai regardé ici https://www.blender.org/download/requirements/ pour voir si j'avais une assez bonne machine pour faire tourner la dernière version (la version 2.7 marchait, même si ça plantait de manière impromptue), mais je ne suis pas assez savante pour lire les données lorsque je demande via le terminal les RAM pour voir si c'est adapté.

Une version ESM de xenial ?
La version 16.04 est supportée jusqu'en avril 2024 en ESM > Extended_Security_Maintenance
Les particuliers peuvent accéder à ESM via un abonnement gratuit . L'abonnement gratuit permet jusqu'à 3 machines et jusqu'à 50 pour les membres de la communauté Ubuntu .

Je ne crois pas que ce soit ESM (en tout cas je n'ai pas fait de demande d'abonnement) 
Merci pour ces ressources en tout cas.
Je pensais apprendre Ubuntu pas à pas et améliorer mes compétences en informatique en transitionnant sur cette OS mais j'ai vraiment du mal.

cette version a un cycle de maintenance d'une durée étendue, soit de cinq ans (jusqu'en avril 2021)
Ta version est maintenant périmée.

Etant passé à Ubuntu Studio l'année dernière, elle est même périmée depuis 2019.
Qu'est-ce que cela implique que la version soit périmée, y-a-t'il une documentation concernant cela?

Je vais penser à installer une autre version si ce n'est pas trop compliqué alors.
J'ai permuté avec une version antérieure 2.83.18 et le logiciel démarre correctement.

Bien, ton matériel peut supporter n’importe quelle variante récente d’Ubuntu.
Comme tu as installé Ubuntu-Studio, je propose, une fois n’est pas coutume (car il ne s’agit pas d’une LTS) Ubuntu-Studio 21.10.
Motif : cette version utilise le nouvel environnement choisi par l’équipe d’Ubuntu-Studio c’est à dire KDE-Plasma.
Si cette solution te convient, je pourrai te guider pour l’installation.
Si elle ne te convient pas, je pourrai également te guider pour installer une autre variante de ton choix (en LTS cette fois-ci) et y installer les logiciels d’Ubuntu-Studio.
La balle est dans ton camp.

Bonsoir nany,
J'ai édité le fil avec un résolu parce que le problème de Blender a été résolu en installant une version inférieure.
Cependant si tu es toujours OK de me guider pour une installation d'une version supérieure, ce serait avec plaisir.
En soi Ubuntu Studio ne m'a rien apporté. C'est un prof qui m'a conseillé de faire ça, pour simplifier des manips avec pure data, mais ça n'a pas changé grand chose.
Et j'ai perdu tous les raccourcis claviers qui étaient bien pratique (notamment le controle de la luminosité de l'écran, l'activation de la lumière sur les touches du clavier, qui m'étaient bien utiles...).
Donc peut être une version qui me permette de revenir à une configuration de ces touches? A moins que ce ne soit pas directement lié?
Aussi j'aimerais bien réussir à partitionner mon ordinateur sous Ubuntu et Windows pour pouvoir utiliser plus facilement Fruity Loops et Ableton. Je ne sais pas si j'ai assez de mémoire pour faire ça mais pour moi ce serait idéal.
Ca fait très longtemps que je cherche à faire ça mais je ne me suis jamais lancé parce que j'ai peur de faire des erreurs irréparables.
