Problème installation - pilotes graphiques ?

Bonjour,


j'ai récemment changé mon PC et j'en ai profité pour faire le grand saut et quitter windows pour Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

J'ai reçu le PC neuf sans OS dessus pensant pouvoir "facilement" installer ubuntu en suivant les instructions.

J'ai donc réalisé ma clé USB bootable avec l'image ISO dessus. Après quelques réglages liés à l'UEFI, j'ai enfin pu installer après avoir longuement cherché pourquoi l'ecran devenait noir et se mettait en veille sans jamais en sortir ensuite. En ajoutant la commande "NOMODESET" lors de l'installation j'ai pu installer.

Désormais je ne peux pas démarrer sans utiliser cette commande. Cependant même après avoir lancé Ubuntu avec cette commande je dispose d'un affichage très limité (une seule résolution d'écran possible, écran à priori non détecté).

J'ai tenté l'installation des pilotes de la carte graphique intégrée HD630 (pilote intel i915) et plein d'autres choses mais rien ne change. Je sèche complètement.

Mon écran est un écran EIZO branché en HDMI.

Pour essayer de vous faire gagner du temps dans votre analyse voic les résultats de quelques commandes :

ce qui est étonnant c'est qu'à côté de configuration il n'y a aucun pilote marqué. Ne devrait-on pas voir i915 ou quelque chose de ce genre ?

Aurais-je oublié une étape sachant que c'est un PC neuf livré sans OS.
Pourriez-vous m'aider à rendre tout celà fonctionnel ?

Je continue en vain de chercher. Je regarde du côté de Xorg car je ne sais pas si c'est lié mais déjà je ne trouve pas de fichier Xorg.conf.

Une idée ?

Bonjour,

Pour le Rapport informations système, il faut aussi des balises code.

Ton Ubuntu étant installé, c'est seulement un problème d'affichage donc je déplace cette discussion dans Affichage et cartes graphiques.

Pardon j'ai tapé la deuxième commande un peu vite * cat /etc/modprobe.d/intel-microcode-blacklist.conf

Et sinon pour te répondre, je n'ai pas trop idée d'où peut venir ton problème honnêtement, normalement les GPU intégrés aux processeurs Intel sont cessés très bien fonctionner sous Linux et sans configuration particulière, donc je cherche un paramètre lié au pilote i915 qui pilote ton GPU qui pourrait mettre le bazar, mais sans succès pour le moment roll ...

Edit : Juste pour être sûr, donnes le retour de la commande lspci -v

Pourtant je ne pense pas avoir une config exotique et Ubuntu est tout juste installé donc difficile de penser qu'il soit corrompu ou modifié.

Après je n'y connais encore pas suffisamment sur cet univers...

Non à première vue ta config n'a rien d'exotique, le seul "reproche" que l'on pourrait faire, c'est ton CPU qui est très récent et peut-être pas encore parfaitement optimisé par la distrib (aucune idée). Je fais quelques recherches et je te tiens au courant si je trouve quelque chose.

A tout hasard, essaies d'ajouter au grub l'option de kernel "i915.alpha_support=1".
Pour ça, tapes la commande sudo nano /etc/default/grub
Et remplace la ligne GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" par GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i915.alpha_support=1"
Appuies sur Ctrl+X pour sauvegarder les modifications, ensuite rentres la commande sudo update-grub et redémarres ton ordinateur pour voir s'il y a du changement.

Après essais avec un autre écran plus ancien branché avec un adaptateur HDMI >>> VGA, tout fonctionne normalement et pas besoin de la commande nomodeset pour démarrer.

Donc j'opte pour un problème de reconnaissance d'écran.

J'ai un écran récent EIZO Coloredge 27" CS2730 branché au PC en HDMI. Pouvez-vous m'assister pour arriver à le faire marcher à sa résolution native de 2560x1440 et sans devoir utiliser nomodeset pour démarrer ?

J'ai déjà eu ce genre de soucis de reconnaissance d'écran et/ou de résolution ; essaies avec un autre câble si tu en as un pour commencer.

Problème résolu !!

Enfin plutôt contourné...
Ayant installé windows sur une autre partition j'ai pu écarter tout problème venant de l'écran ou de la carte graphique car celà fonctionnait bien sur le port HDMI.

Donc en dernier espoir, j'ai commandé un câble display port et là miracle, sans aucun réglage mon écran a été reconnu sous Ubuntu !!

Problème d'une mauvaise gestion du port HDMI sous Linux ? Mystère, enfin pour moi...
