Scanner de HP n'est pas reconnu par Ubuntu 18.04.2
Bonjour
Bien que l'imprimante Photosmart C4190 soit reconnue et fonctionne sous Ubuntu, son scannerl fonctionne en solo et imprime mais ne peut se connecter au pc pour lui envoyer des fichiers.
Cela rappelle la discussion de Gil2018 du 3-4-2019 dont j'ai bien examiné le retour de cde comportant son installation xsane et hplip.
J'ai donc fait " hp-check -t " et obtenu le retour ci-dessous.
Ce qui diffère est la liste impressionnante d'erreurs.
Donc, avec une installation à jour, que faire pour que le pc connecte le scanner ?

Bonjour as tu installé hplip-gui
ensuite tu lances hplip-toolbox pour rechercher ton imprimante
si je recherche mon imprimante hp avec hplip-toolbox mon scanner fonctionne alors que l'imprimante trouvé par Ubuntu ,celui-ci ne fonctionne pas

Comment est relié ton imprimante à l'ordinateur ?
Dans tous les cas, hp-setup ne voit pas ton imprimante. Est-elle allumée ?

Bonjour.
Juste une remarque : la dernière version de HPLIP est la 3.19.3. Cela pourrait éventuellement poser problème avec une 18.04.
J'ai installé une HP ENVY 6230 sur une 18.04 mais ce n'est pas la même imprimante et j'ai Ubuntu. Par contre, je sais que HPLIP ne parvient pas à charger tout seul tous les paquets nécessaires. J'ai donc du me les palucher un par un et c'est pénible car à chaque fois on repart à zéro.

Bon, j'ai réinstallé l'imprimante avec
SUDO APT-CACHE POLICY HPLIP
et HP-SETUP
mais le scanner bien que fonctionnant en solo, n'est pas relié au pc.
Donc je scanne mes images sur une carte mémoire que je monte sur le pc pour pouvoir les y installer.
Casse-pieds mais ça marche.
hplip toolbox ne voit pas le scanner mais SANE-FIND-SCANNER -P l'a trouvé.
Quels paquets supplémentaire seraient à installer?

Je n'ai malheureusement pas conserver les noms des paquets que j'ai installés.
Par contre, ils m'ont été fournis par le package HPLIP lui même en gros sous la forme : <nom du paquet> missing.
De mémoire, l'un d'eux s'appelait par libcanberra-gtk0.

Bonjour jeanlucbo,
Dans ta tentative précédente et parmi le flot d'injures d'HPLIP, j'ai repéré le message warning: HPLIP-Installation: Auto installation is not supported for 12 distro 18.04 version . C'est pourquoi il me semble que tu devrais commencer par télécharger la dernière version 3.19.3 avant toutes choses.
Pour ma part, mon imprimante n'est pas en réseau mais j'ai remarqué que le menu actions de HP proposait la connexion wireless en partant d'une connexion usb. Peut-être faut il d'abord effectuer l'installation en filaire et ensuite utiliser cette possibilité du logiciel HP.
