Bonjour,
Après mise à jour boot impossible sur la mise à jour cad Linux 4.15.0-48-generic (écran noir)
Boot toujours possible sur la version antérieure: 4.15.0-47
je suis sous Ubuntu 18 04 2 LTS
Boot info sous 4.15.0-47 si ça peut aider

Tu devrais remettre au propre :
Remettre à neuf sources.list :
Renomme sources.list en sources.bak :
cd /etc/apt/ sudo mv -v sources.list sources.bak
Ouvre un nouveau sources.list avec nano :
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
Colle ce qui suit avec un clic droit / coller :

Problème inchangé...
ci dessous le résultat des commandes de mise à jour:
j'ai repéré un warning vers la fin...
update-rc.d: warning: start and stop actions are no longer supported; falling back to defaults
Ce qui est bizarre c'est qu'au premier boot après la mise à jour que vous m'avez indiqué le démarrage est allé très loin: il ne manquait plus que l'écran final (écran de connexion vers le tableau de bord).
Et puis les boots suivants: écran noir dès le départ du démarrage sur la version 0-48
Cela avait fait la même chose avec la précédente mise à jour de la version 4.15.0 qui a donné lieu à cette demande d'aide (avec même un démarrage complet)... et puis plus rien aux nouveaux boots: écran noir dès le départ du démarrage sur la version 0-48

Dans le post #1, tu as écrit "je suis sous Ubuntu 18 04 2 LTS". Mais il semble que tu es sous Kubuntu (pas sous Ubuntu). Tu confirmes ?
EDIT : dans le post #5, j'ai vu mentionné "Lubuntu". Si c'est bien Lubuntu, la commande à passer est :
leafpad admin:///etc/default/grub

Oui c'est lubuntu que j'avais installé au départ... ensuite j'ai mis à jour en installant installant Ubuntu 18 04 2 LTS
leafpad admin:///etc/default/grub ouvre bien grub mais avec un fichier grub vide... alors que j'ai vérifié le fichier n'est pas vide..

Désolé mais je ne sais pas quoi te conseiller. Il faudrait peut-être utiliser cette vacherie de nano (avec les droits d'administration) pour faire ça : https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/comm … _graphique

Autrement, il y a sed :
sudo sed -i 's/^\(GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE\)/#\1/;s/^#\(GRUB_TERMINAL\)/\1/' /etc/default/grub && cat /etc/default/grub

Je proposais d'ouvrir et modifier le fichier de façon non orthodoxe en ouvrant le gestionnaire de fichier en superutilisateur... puis en allant le chercher...
J'ai déjà essayé c'est très simple.... Est-ce que tu sais si ça peut poser problème dans ce cas vu que je sais que ce n'est pas recommandé de façon générale...?

- Par ailleurs pourquoi modifier "GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden": tu as écrit que c'était pour forcer l'affichage du menu Grub au démarrage. Je suppose que la première modification entraînait le fait que le menu Grub n'était pas affiché au démarrage?

Je n'en sais rien. Au départ, j'ai proposé cette modif un peu au hasard (c'était dans ce post) et il se trouve que ça a permis de contourner le problème du noyau bogué. Je crois que c'est un bug de l'affichage mais je ne suis pas compétent pour en dire plus.

Tu as raison de t'interroger sur ce point. En fait, ce n'est pas du tout obligatoire de faire cette modif de "GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden". J'avais proposé ça pour faciliter le passage par les options avancées mais si ça te défrise, tu peux l'enlever.

Bonjour,
Un nouveau noyau 4.15.0-50 est sorti. Après avoir fait ta mise à jour (*) et vérifié que tu peux démarrer sur ce dernier noyau, je t'invite à défaire la modif que je t'avais proposée, c'est à dire à remettre le # devant "GRUB_TERMINAL=console" dans le fichier /etc/default/grub puis à faire la mise à jour de Grub en passant la commande "sudo update-grub". Si au redémarrage, le démarrage sur ce noyau 4.15.0-50 est possible et que tout semble bien fonctionner, ça voudra dire que le bug a été solutionné. Si c'est le cas, je te prie de prendre le temps de tenter un démarrage sur le noyau pourri 4.15.0-48 afin de t'assurer que tu retrouves l'écran noir que tu as décrit dans le post #1.
Si par contre, c'est la cata avec le nouveau noyau 4.15.0-50 ainsi qu'avec le noyau 4.15.0-48 et que seul le démarrage sur le noyau 4.15.0-47 est possible, tu devras refaire la modif (enlever le # devant "GRUB_TERMINAL=console" dans le fichier /etc/default/grub et mettre à jour grub par "sudo update-grub")
(*) si tu n'as pas trafiqué les réglages de mises à jour, il est même possible que ce nouveau noyau 4.15.0-50 s'installe automatiquement en arrière plan sans que tu aies besoin de lancer volontairement tes mises à jour.
EDIT le 16 mai 2019 : j'ai proposé à enrico_69003 de faire l'essai (voir ici). Chez lui, ça n'a pas marché : le nouveau noyau 4.15.0-50 est toujours bogué. Du coup, il a dû refaire la modif...
