forcer fermeture application qui se ferme mal

Bonjour,
J'ai avec des applications standards (firefox, chromuim, thunderbird, ryhtmbox... ) qui ne se ferment pas bien.
C'est plutôt pénible:-(
Je viens de passer à la version 20.04 ce matin et j'ai à nouveau ce genre de problème!
Comment régler cela à la source (si possible) ?
ou alors une action simple et rapide pour  "tuer" la tâche ?

il peut y avoir plusieurs raison.. ton sources.list est-il ok ?

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

as-tu des paquets qui ne devrait pas être là ?
au changement de version as-tu fais ces commandes ?

sudo i

apt update ; apt upgrade

apt full-upgrade

apt autoclean ; apt clean ; apt autoremove --purge

exit

J'ai fais une nouvelle installation Ubuntu 20.04 en écrasant l'ancien système car le lancement d'ubuntu 18.04 se bloqué sur un message que je n'ai pas réussi à résoudre.

as-tu des paquets qui ne devrait pas être là ?
au changement de version as-tu fais ces commandes ?

Je n'ai donc pas fait les cmds

Pour la 1ère j'ai

Quand vous ne trouvez pas la solution à un problème, cherchez des pistes menant à la solution !

Dans un terminal, tu saisis :

xkill

Le pointeur de la souris devient une croix.
Il suffit de le déplacer et de cliquer sur la fenêtre de l'application qui ne répond plus...
