pb résolution meme avec drivers installés
Salut à tous!
Voila je n'arrive pas à résoudre quelques petits problemes d'affichage avec ma dapper:
En fait quand ma distro se lance, tout est ecrit trop petit c limite illisible (l'ecran où l'on doit se logger).
Sous le bureau, je n'arrive pas à modifier la resolution de l'ecran et a adapter la taille de l'image par rapport à mon ecran (daewoo 19"). J'ai donc du noir tout autour du bureau et je ne veux pas toucher aux reglages de l'ecran car sous xp tout est nickel et sous dos aussi, idem lors du demarrage de la machine. De plus si je demande à ma copide (qui utilise xp...) de modifier les reglages de l'cran a chaque fois qu'elle veut s'en servir, je sens qu'elle va râler! wink )
Enfin, j'ai installé les drivers pour ma nvidia 6600 GT mais je n'arrive pas à modifier la résolution utilisée par ma carte...

Salut,
Poste ton /etc/X11/xorg.conf et dis-nous quelle résolution tu veux utiliser.
Sinon, en gros, pour le login trop petit, supprime ou commente (#) la résolution la plus haute dans ton xorg.conf.
Un règle générale: supprimer (ou commenter) les résolutions que tu n'utilises pas. Deux résolutions différentes devraient suffire amplement: celle que tu vas utiliser 98% du temps et une autre, au cas où...
À titre d'exemple, sur mon 19" CRT, j'ai gardé "1024x768" (res principale) et "800x600"

Bonjour,
Après avoir installé le driver nvidia et remplacé "nv" par "nvidia", il te faut renseigner dans la section Monitor de ton xorg.conf les HorizSync et VertRefresh (Ce sont les plages de fréquences Horiz et Vert données dans la fiche techniquesde l'écran).
Ensuite, les résolutions souhaitées (voir la résolution optimale + fréquence sur fiche technique).
Tu peux supprimer le post mal placé toi même http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=50408 en cliquant sur supprimer en bas à droite du premier message.

Je viens de le modier comme ca, en y ajoutant les fréquences de mon écran et en supprimant les fréquences inutiles:
J'espere avoir bien fait, j'ai enregistré ce nouveau xorg sous un autre nom et j'attends votre aprobation pour remplacer l'original...!
