Ciao,

Je vous expose mon souci etqw marchait tres bien , apres un passage feisty -> gusty .

De la je decouvre envy (nioob powa) et le jme dit nickel jvais installer via envy des nouveaux drivers .

Paf je m'y met et la plouf . Etqw se lance plus .

Donc apres moult desintall via envy , tripatouillage de nvidia settings , je me suis retouver a faire un bckup de mon xorg.conf dont voici la teneur :

Pour infos le non demarrage de l'autoexe est sans consequence , en plsu le libGL passe sans soucis .

En attendant jvais essaye de reinstall a la main , mais defois que j'ai rater un truc bebete , vous voyez quelquechose ?

Je ne comprend pas l'intérêt d'envy vu que de toute façon dans Gutsy il y a la gestion des pilotes propriétaires, donc il n'y a rien de spécial à faire. Tu ne peux pas remettre tes pilotes via le gestionnaire de pilotes propriétaires ?

oui c'est deja fait , j'ai du reactive la '3d' via le menu des pilotes proprietaires .

Le lanceur m'affiche toujours la meme chose , mais en regardant bien ...

J'ai sorti un log du démarrage de la démo, puisque c'est ce que j'ai sous la main, et je n'ai aucune info sur Vendor et Device. Ton log est normal, sauf la partie openGl où trop de caractéristiques ne sont pas supportées, évidemment c'est dû à ton pilote.

La seule chose à faire c'est mettre un pilote adéquat. Je ne sais pas si tu arrives à remettre comme avant, au pire tu peux les télécharger sur le site de nVidia et installer manuellement.

je suis passe par envy , puis par pilote proprietaire comme me l'a dit le precedent posteur.

Rien n'y a fait et je pense resuivree le tuto a la lettre concernant l'installation a la base.

Sinon comme j'ai lu que l'install par envy n'etait pas la meme que le via une install manuelle ca vient peut etre de la .

En tout cas merci pour votre aide. Je poursuit l'enquete.

Je pense avoir mis le doigt sur une consequence de mon probleme , le lancement de Nvidia X server Settings me balance :

You do not appear to be using the Nvidia driver ... just run nvidia-xconfig as root

an restart X serveur

driver nvidia mal installé...
avant d'installer un nouveau driver il faut toujours désinstaller l'ancien
donc tu désinstalle tout ça proprement soir avec le script .run de chez nvidia en ajoutant l'option --uninstall soit avec envy apres est ce que utilisé les deux méthodes l'une apr dessus l'autre est conseillé je ne pense pas

alors voila methode radical reinstall complete de gusty !

deja bigup a l 'install une ligne de commande et on est en version live pour l'install.Rebooot et la je me jette sur nvidia-settings et paf j'accede de nouveau dessus.

Donc la je charge l'installeur mais j'ai bon espoir de refragg .

Comme je le pense plusieurs install reinstall sont neccessaire pour se faire la main sur un OS !
