Pb de numérisation à partir d'une multifonction Epson ET-2750
Bonjour,
J'utilise Ubuntu depuis plusieurs années. J'ai un pb d'installation de la fonction scanner de ma multifonction Epson ET-2750. L'imprimante fonctionne très bien sans le pilote Epson.

Ton scanner n'est pas encore supporté par sane .
C' est pour cela que scanimage -L ne le voit pas, c est pour cela que simple-scan ne peut pas l ouvrir non plus.
les pilotes installé sont les bon.
Tu dois passer par l utilitaire d'Epson
imagescan
cela devrait marcher.

OK merci pour ta réponse. J'ai lu beaucoup de fil sur ce forum où il est expliqué que ça devrait fonctionner.
En particulier le fil que ta as eu avec matt, apparemment ça a fonctionné chez lui avec le même modèle de multifonction.
Cependant comme je cherche à scanner, je peux utiliser n'importe quelle application donc pourquoi pas imagescan.
Quand je lance imagescan, installé par les utilitaires Epson
imagescan
Gtk-Message: 09:03:44.773: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
je n'ai aucune détection de scanner.
L'erreur signalée au lancement sur le module "canberra" serait à ignorer.

Oups je continue d'utiliser imagescan !
mais le résultat avec simple-scan "Aucun périphérique de numérisation n'a été détecté" reste KO.

Bon imagescane fonctionne , c'est un bon début
on va essayer de faire fonctionner simple-scan
donne stp le retour de ces commandes :
cat /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules | grep EPSON

sudo find / -name "*epkowa*"
sudo adduser max saned
sudo adduser saned scanner
ensuite redémarre ton ordi pour que cela soit pris en compte puis
scanimage -L

Ok merci pour ces informations mais je ne peux pas scanner, aucune application fonctionne, ni imagescan, ni simple-scan ni xsane.
J'ai toujours un message signifiant qu'aucun scanner n'est détecté.

C'est très curieux car j'ai déjà passé cette commande.
sudo adduser saned scanner
L'utilisateur « saned » appartient déjà au groupe « scanner ».
A suivre après le reboot.

Je suis bien connecté en USB 2 (pas sur un connecteur USB bleu).
C'est très curieux que cela ne fonctionne toujours pas.

Je suis passé sur Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (focal) sans migrer la version mais en formatant les disques et tout fonctionne sans les pilotes ou applications EPSON.
Toutes les fonctionnalités de l'imprimante et du scanner sont disponibles : recto verso, N/B, couleur, ...
