[résolu] problème avec nexiuz et ma Geforce 6600

hello

comme vous pouvez le lire ici, j'ai résolu mon soucis d'installation du driver nvidia via adept enfin le gestionnaire de driver propriétaire.

la cause principale est que mettant mis à jouer à nexiuz au boulot, j'ai voulu y jouer aussi à la maison.

j'avais installer et testé la version 2.3 il y a un moment. je viens de la restester et ça lague un peu.

mon soucis est avec la dernière version, la 2.4. là, sur cette version et quelque soit mes réglages, ça lague beaucoup et j'ai même droit à des arrêt complet pendant 5 sec. évidement, si j'augmente les détails, c'est encore pire. mais même en mettant tout au minimum, ça lague quand même !!

j'ai pourtant une geforce 6600, pas récente ni GT mais quand même....

mon bureau étendu est composé de mon LCD en 1280*1024 en depth 24 et de ma TV en 1024*768.

les tests des 2 versions ont eu lieu en plein écran ou en fenêtré.

driver actuel nvidia 100.14.19.

note2 : je vais testé openarena pour voir si ça lague aussi...

Es-tu sûr que l'accélération matérielle de ta CG est activée?

(un test simple consiste à déplacer très rapidement une fenêtre dans XWindow, si l'affichage rame, c'est que l'accélération graphique n'est pas active, mais ça m'étonne quand même dans la mesure où tu utilises le bon driver...)

T'es sûr que c'est bien nécessaire tout ça:

salut

après abandon (c'est en général ce que je fais quand je trouve pas) et en prévision d'une nouvelle installation (à la sortie de hardy mais surtout quand j'aurais le temps....), j'ai enfin trouvé le coupable ! même 2 coupables !! (du coup plus de réinstallation de prévu, juste l'upgrade).

- le principal coupable est mon thème superkaramba auquel je fais afficher, entre autre, la température de mon GPU nvidia (ainsi que beaucoup d'autres informations)
- le second, mais dans une moindre mesure est cairo-dock.

si je ferme ces 2 applis, glxgears me renvoie ça =>
