[Résolu] "Impossible de démarrer l'imprimante [...]" Samsung
Re-bonjour !
Un nouveau problème semble s'être présenté pour moi : j'utilise Ubuntu sur un ordinateur HP, ainsi qu'une imprimante Laser Samsung (M2070-Series). Depuis ce matin, tentant d'imprimer un fichier avec Libreoffice, j'ai obtenu ce message : "Impossible de démarrer l'imprimante, vérifiez-en la configuration".
Le problème ne semble pas venir de Libreoffice puisque j'ai tenté d'imprimer avec d'autres logiciels, notamment une page au hasard sur Firefox, sans résultat. Y a-t-il quelque chose à installer ?

Si ça ne fonctionne pas, peut-être tenter la suppression du paquet ippusbxd qui semble poser problème pour les imprimantes usb sur la 20.04?sudo apt purge ippusbxd...redémarrer et encore tenter de réinstaller l'imprimante?
Si ça ne fonctionne toujours pas, simplement réinstaller le paquet pour revenir à l'état initial:
sudo apt install ippusbxdA+
dans > [RÉSOLU]Imprimante Canon et Ubuntu 20.04

Pour supprimer tous ces fichiers de configuration devenus sans objets et marqués "rc", et uniquement ces fichiers, exécute :

J'ai entré toutes ces commandes et malheureusement rien n'y fait, ça ne marche toujours pas.
EDIT : À noter d'ailleurs que la numérisation, elle, marche parfaitement.

Faut-il le réinstaller > samsungsupports.net/samsung-ml-3470d-driver ?
Comme dans > [Résolu] Imprimante Samsung M2070W ne marche plus sous 20.04

C'est fait, malheureusement toujours rien. La commande n'a, cela dit, rien affiché. Est-ce qu'on peut en déduire quelque chose ?

Bon et bien pour info.
J'ai installé puis lancé system-config-printer. Mon imprimante était bien présente, on ne voyait qu'elle. Mais l'option cochée était:
Interdire l'impression à tous les utilisateurs sauf: (moi et withfield)
J'ai fait: autoriser l'imression à tous les utilisateurs sauf (et j'ai supprimé les utilisateurs de la liste).
J'ai modifié aussi l'option dans comportement -> comportement par défaut -> authentifié.

Toujours pas. J'ai tenté les trois types de comportement différents sans que ça ne change rien. La case "Autoriser l'impression à tous les utilisateurs sauf ceux-ci" était déjà cochée. J'ai tenté l'inverse en mettant mon nom d'utilisateur mais même résultat.
Je suis aussi allé sur la liste des imprimantes samsung (https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/liste_imprimantes_samsung) où il était dit qu'il fallait le pilote suld-driver2-1.00.06 (driver2) vu que la M2070 Series n'était pas prise en charge nativement. Mais chaque tentative de le télécharger se solde par un "Impossible de trouver le paquet " suld-driver2-1.00.06 "" de la part d'apturl.

Sous toute réserve, et si c'est bien le pilote requis pour ton appareil, tu pourrais essayer de télécharger l'archive suld-driver2-1.00.06 (driver2) sur ce site:
https://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/suld.html
Cette commande devrait télécharger une archive compressée nommée UnifiedLinuxDriver-1.00.06.tar.gz directement dans ton répertoire courant:
wget https://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/driver/UnifiedLinuxDriver-1.00.06.tar.gz...il faut ensuite décompresser le fichier pour en examiner le contenu; on y trouve, entre autres, un script d'installation nommé install.sh, qu'il faut lancer à partir du répertoire le contenant pour procéder à l'installation...?

Merci, j'ai pu faire l'installation du fichier... mais rien de rien, mon imprimante (ou mon PC) fait de la résistance.

Bonjour,
Il semble y avoir un pilote plus récent, version uld_V1.00.39_01.17 là: Samsung Xpress SL-M2070 Laser Multifunction Printer series ?
Une fois sur la page du lien, clique «Try manually selecting your operating system» puis choisis «Linux» à gauche pour le «Operating system» et «Ubuntu» à droite pour la «Version» et clique sur «Change» pour aboutir au site de téléchargement de l'archive compressée uld_V1.00.39_01.17.tar.gz.
Par contre, l'archive ne semble pas fournir de script de désinstallation; ça pourrait compliquer les choses s'il faut le supprimer ?
Si tu tentes, supprimer au préalable la version suld-driver2-1.00.06 à l'aide du script uninstall.sh compris dans l'archive précédemment utilisée pour l'installation.

La version du pilote installée actuellement est normalement la plus récente.

Hello ! Loooongtemps plus tard, j'ai trouvé la solution :
Commencez par installer les drivers : https://www.samsungdrivers.net/samsung-m2070-driver/
Dézippez le dossier, faites un clic droit sur le dossier uld > ouvrir dans un terminal.
Entrez la commande :
sudo ./install-printer.shFaites défiler les conditions d'utilisation, appuyez ensuite sur q pour passer à la suite, acceptez les conditions et attendez la fin du téléchargement.
PUIS !
Allez dans la page des imprimantes. Si votre imprimante est dans la liste, ouvrez :
Paramètres > Informations sur l'imprimante > Sélectionner à partir de la base de données.
Enfin, trouvez le nom de votre imprimante parmi les pilotes désormais installés.
(L'autre solution est de cliquer sur "Installer le fichier ppd" et, dans le fichier uld que vous avez dézippé, faire le chemin : uld > noarch > share > ppd, puis sélectionner le fichier. Attention cependant, ça peut finir par ne plus marcher au bout d'un certain temps.)
