[Résolu] HP Envy 5530 et Xubuntu 20.04
Bonjour,
Impossible de faire fonctionner correctement l'imprimante et le scanner/
Après installation fraîche de Xubuntu 20.04, une imprimante se crée toute seule (immédiatement après suppression) avechplip 3.20.xx
J'ai désinstallé hplip et réinstallé la dernière version 3.21.4 et quelque soit le mode d'installation de l'imprimante (hp-setup -ia) ou depuis le gestionnaire d'imprimante soit il ne voit pas le device, soit j'ai le message busy ...
Je devient chèvre ...

Je ne vois pas l'intérêt d'installer la dernière version d'hplip. Passons.
As-tu essayé de faire une impression à partir d'un éditeur de texte (Mousepad par exemple) ?

Si j'ai essayé la dernière version, c'est que celle installée avec la 20.04 ne fonctionnait pas. une imprimante était crée automatiquement, et soit elle prenait quelques minutes pour imprimer, soit elle n'imprimait pas. Le scanner ne fonctionnait pas non plus, bien que vu par Simple Scan.
Si on essayait de supprimer l'imprimante, elle était recréée de suite.
Si on en créait une nouvelle, on avait le message qui disait que le device était busy ...
Bref, pas top tout çà ...
Une idée pour s'en sortir ?

Pour la version 20.04 :
dans le commentaire #7 bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ippusbxd/+bug/1871011, on lit :
Veuillez désinstaller ippusbxd. Ensuite, votre appareil devrait fonctionner normalement avec HPLIP. ippusbxd était censé permettre l'impression et la numérisation sans pilote sans HPLIP. Malheureusement, il y a eu des problèmes dans sa conception. Dans Groovy, nous remplacerons ippusbxd par ipp-usb qui permet enfin à l'impression et à la numérisation sans pilote sans HPLIP de fonctionner de manière fiable.

Si ça ne fonctionne pas, peut-être tenter la suppression du paquet ippusbxd qui semble poser problème pour les imprimantes usb sur la 20.04sudo apt purge ippusbxd
...redémarrer et encore tenter de réinstaller l'imprimante?
Si ça ne fonctionne toujours pas, simplement réinstaller le paquet pour revenir à l'état initial:
sudo apt install ippusbxd

Bon, comme j'avais installé à partir du dernier .run, j'ai utilisé en partie la doc

[*]Nettoyage des dossiers hplip[/*]
sudo rm -rf /usr/share/hplip
sudo rm -rf /etc/hp
sudo rm -rf ~/.hplip
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/hp
[*]Désinstallation de ippusbxb[/*]
[*]Installation de hplip par apt (3.20.3)[/*]
[*]Création de l'imprimante dans le gestionnaire d'imprimante[/*]
- choix USB au lieu de hplip
=> Impression ok
=> scanner ok
Pas eu besoin de déplugger.
Bon, je l'ai fait à distance (Anydesk), mais le résultat du scanner était visible à l'écran et la file d'attente de l'imprimante s'est bien vidée, donc ... ça semble être bon.
