[Résolu] Espace entre caractère dans terminal et caractère trop petit

Bonjour

Version Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
PC DELL Inspiron 7706 2n1

Au constat que l'affichage était trop petit sur mon écran.
J'ai augmenté les caractères avec Tweak

Le résultat escompté n'est pas là, car je pensais que cela allait avoir un impact sur tous les applications, or cela n'est pas le cas avec Firefox

Mais en plus, depuis cette manipulation, j'ai des espaces supplémentaires entre les lettres au niveau terminal

Montre la carte graphique :

lspci -vnn | grep -A 12 '\''[030[02]\]' | grep -Ei "vga|3d|display|kernel"
xrandr
uname -a

la liste des anomalies de démarrage :

journalctl --no-pager -b -p err
ls -l /var/crash
dpkg -l | grep -v ^ii

et :

echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

pour voir si c'est Wayland ou x11, en te servant du Retour utilisable de commande.

tu peux aussi changer la taille dans paramètres système /  sélection d police

dans Firefox, il as son propre gestionnaire de taille de polices. a toi d'agrandir à ta guise.

Avec Tweak, ca marche, mais reste que la police dans le terminal me rajoute des espaces.
Ce qui reste difficilement exploitable

Je vais patienter pour la conclusion / es logs fourni.
J'espère que cela parlera à quelqu'un et qu'il y aura moyen d'arranger la chose

nvidia-driver-550 - distro non-free recommended

Pour passer du pilote nvidia-driver-535, au pilote nvidia-driver-550 conseillé, tente :

sudo apt purge nvidia*
sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

Suivi d’un redémarrage.

As-tu moyen de changer de session avec la roue crantée, pour tester avec wayland ?

Regarde l'EDIT de malbo dans le message #1, pour la roue crantée, (ou le début du message #8, citant nany).
