Ubuntu doesn't find the network cards
Hi,
I am trying to install Ubuntu (or Kubuntu) on my Opteron Workstation. However the installation doesn't find the network cards. I have 2 cards: 0000:01:09.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c900 10Mbps Combo [Boomerang] = 3c59x module, and Broadcom = tg3 module.
Also is there a way to do a complete install only using the network and an other Linux system on the same machine (no CD) ?
Thanks,
Yann

Re : Ubuntu doesn't find the network cards
Why do you wanna do a net-install ? Try to install Ubuntu only using the cd and then try to connect with pppoeconf. However, it depends on your modem. But as netmaxd said before, you'd better resolve you problem on http://www.ubuntuforums.org
