Problème connexion ryzom

Bonjour,

Utilisateur de Ubuntu depuis peu, j'ai voulu installer ryzom, mais lorsque je veux me connecter, j'ai le message suivant "Error : can't connect (error code 1)

je vais donc voir dans l'aide et là on me dit que c'est un problème de pare-feu.
J'ai installer le logiciel de configuration du pare-feu et j'ai autorisé toutes les entrées et sortie, mais ça ne marche toujours pas.
Est-il possible que ce soit la connexion de ma résidence étudiante qui bloque la connexion? si oui y a t'il un moyen de contourner le problème? si non, que faire?

Oui, c'est possible que la connexion soit bridée, notamment qu'elle ne te permette que d'accéder au web et aux mails. Est-ce que tu peux jouer à d'autres jeux en ligne (pas forcément des MMO, par exemple OpenArena) ? faire du P2P ? utiliser du FTP ? etc.

Si elle est effectivement bridée, je ne suis pas sûr qu'il y ait grand chose à faire. Peut-être mettre en place un tunnel HTTP (je ne sais pas dans quelle mesure c'est possible pour les jeux) ou utiliser un VPN...

Je viens d'essayer avec open arena, et bien que je puisse voir les partie disponible, impossible de m'y connecter..
Sinon je n'ai aucune problème avec la connexion, le P2P je sais pas j'en fais pas, et les téléchargement il n'y a aucune problème.

Merci pour la réponse, mais je ne sais pas me servir d'un VPN, et je ne parle même pas du tunnel HTTP ...

Bonsoir à tous,

je viens de faire une install toute fraîche de Ryzom que je ne connais pas jusqu'à maintenant.
J'ai téléchargé l'archive que j'ai décompressé dans le répertoire /opt/jeux/
Suite à la création d'un compte sur le site internet, je me connecte sans soucis au lancement du jeu.
Je crée mon personnage sans soucis et ensuite je me connecte à la communauté francophone.
Et là patatra ! la fenêtre reste bloquée sur le lancement de la carte...

ci-dessous une partie de mon fichier log du soir, si ça peut aider à m'aider...
