[RESOLU] PB Installation de synaptic

Je débute sous linux et je voulais ajouter quelques programmes...
Je suis sous Kubuntu 6.10 (entièrement mis à jour via Adept Manager)

J'ai réussi à ajouter certains programmes avec Adept Manager, après ajouts des dépots proposé sur
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/applications/apt/depots avec la commande :

kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list

Mais, j'ai certains programmes télécharger sous la forme .tar.gz et d'autres sous la forme .deb

Il parait que les dossiers compressé .tar.gz sont déconseillé pour les débutants...

Je voulais installer le navigateur opera (c'est un exemple!), j'ai fais 2 téléchargement :
opera_9.10-20061214.6-shared-qt_en_i386.deb
opera-9.10-20061214.6-shared-qt.i386-en.tar.gz

Mais que faire avec ces fichiers?

J'ai vu sur ce forum que l'on parlé de synaptic pour faire l'installation de certains programmes
Je l'ai installé immédiatement depuis Adept Manager, mais au final, problème:

synaptic
  Status: CASSé (installé)
  Requested change: BREAK (aucun changement)
  Section: admin

Que faire ?
J'ai desintallé puis réinstallé mais idem...

Synaptic est l'équivalent d'Adept pour l'environnement gnome, donc tu n'en as pas besoin.
Essayes de gérer au maximum tes téléchargements avec Adept, si le logiciel n'est pas présent choisi d'utiliser des .deb. Généralement les .tar.gz sont des logiciels à compiler, et donc moins faciles à gérer.

Montre vois le contenu de ton sources.list?

Je t'ai rajouté les dépots des dernières version de KDE et Amarok. Il te faut coller ça dans un terminal:

wget http://people.ubuntu.com/~jriddell/kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg
 sudo apt-key add kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg

Puis un petit update et upgrade et tu devrais avoir pas mal de mises a jour.

Pour opera, j'ai fini par trouvé un dépot (Opera et Real Player):

J'ai simplement repris ton fichier, éclairci, avec des commentaires, et rajouté des dépots officiels pour avoir la denrière version de kde.
