snapscan e40 non reconnu

J'ai un problème pour installer mon scanner snapscan e40
Pourtant j'ai suivi le tuto de la doc et deux ou trois sujets du forum :
sane-find-scanner me donne :

[i]found USB scanner (vendor=0x06bd [AGFA], product=0x208d [ SNAPSCAN e40   ]) at libusb:002:003[/i]

et scanimage -L

[i]device `snapscan:libusb:002:003' is a AGFA SNAPSCAN e40 flatbed scanner[/i]

Seulement lorsque je lance x-sane j'obtiens
Aucun périphérique disponible ou une erreur d'I/O ça dépend (de quoi je n'en sais rien)
mon snapscan.config

Le répertoire etc/sane.d contient bien le Snape40.bin

Que puis-je faire d'autre ?

Bonjour,

Nous faisons fonctionner un scanner Snapscan e40, avec le même fichier de configuration excepté que nous avons laissé la ligne originale :

  /dev/usb/scanner0 bus=usb

Vérifier que le fichier "/etc/sane.d/Snape40.bin" existe (attention majuscule/minuscules) et correspond au driver adéquat.
