lecteur memory-stick et sd-card sur laptop

bonjour, voila je suis neophite, et sur conseil d'un ami et par ideologie j'ai installe ubuntu sur mon laptop Fujitsu FMV-BIBLO NB55H, celui-ci est donc equipe d'un lecteur de memory-stick et de lecteur SD-card. Mais lors de l'installation, je crois qu'il ne les a pas reconnu... Connaissez-vous une astuce pour que je puisse lui faire reconnaitre et les faire marcher....
je vous remercie d'avance, de bien vouloir aider la communaute a s'emanciper...

hmm il me semble que le format SD-Card n'est pas encore reconnu. dommage car du coup j'hésite à acquérir la GP2X.

Le lecteur de Memory Stick de mon portable Sony est parfaitement reconnu et je ne vois pas pourquoi les SD-cards ne seraient pas reconnues (par qui ? Linux ? Fujitsu ?).
Mon lecteur intégré fonctionne comme un port usb interne, c'est sur cette piste que tu dois te pencher alors fais un 

dmesg

pour voir ce qu'il répond.

@martin > pourrais tu s'il te plais nous envoyer le résultat de ton dmesg en ne gardant que ce qui concerne le lecteur memory stick et le résultat d'un lspci ou lsusb, merci . As tu installé un paquet spécial pour que ton memory stick fonctionne ?
Sur mon Sony, il ne fonctionne pas et je cherche des infos.

j'ai un peut le meme probleme .... j'ai recompilé une kernel 2.6.14.3 pour ma kubuntu,
(en activant le sd_mod)
