Hello tt le monde,
j'ai un petit bug avec le nouvel écran de verrouillage d'unity,
en effet quand vous le verrouillez, il ne passe plus en veille mais du coup une fois que vous vous relogguer, le portable passe rapidement en veille puis reviens à la normale.
En soit ce bug n'est pas gênant mais je trouve que ça ne fait pas finis (pourtant il est vraiment simpa ce nouvel écran de verrouillage)
Vous constatez la même chose ?

Idem ici, RAS, hormis peut être l'activation de numlock dès l'écran de login qui reste impossible

Kalispera ! Vraiment eu le bazar ! J'ai fini par faire une clean install après m'être rendu compte qu'il fallait nomodeset (c'est nouveau sur ma bécane ce besoin !)
Au passage, pour le mettre "en dur" suis passé par boot repair (en le saucissant : pas encore sur Trusty, vivement Unbelievable Unicorn, hu, hu !).
A peu près tout fonctionne. (les GPU sont toujours un peu en délicatesse, mais c'est un souci récurrent pour lequel je crée un fil : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … #p16407191

[edit] avec la clean install, j'ai aussi découvert que xscreensaver n'était plus par défaut dans Xubuntu et qu'un horrible light Locker avait fait son apparition (me suis empressé de le désactiver et de le signaler dans le tuto de ma signature)

Le gel du noyau pour la 14.04 aura lieu le 03 Avril. Donc si passé cette date le noyau est toujours en version 3.13 sur la béta cela veux dire qu'il n'y aura pas de version 3.14 a sa sortie finale.
Mais je vois pas pourquoi il y aurai le noyau en 3.14 puisque celui ci est toujours en développement. La dernière version stable du noyau linux c'est toujours le 3.13 actuellement et cela pour n'importe quel distribution linux.

Oui on est en 3.10 pour la grande majorité des composant mais c'est pas exactement du vanilla. C'est ca que je trouve relou et j'espère qu'on aura au moins un full gnome 3.10 à la sortie ou peu après.
Parce que la c'est le foutoir on a des composant en 3.6 (gnome control center et le terminal), des composant en 3.8 (empathy), la plupart des autre composant en 3.10 et quelque composant en 3.12 (visionneur de document et le dezipper). Et ceux csans compter ceux en version intermédiaire comme gnome-session en 3.9
Bref c'est quand même relou surtout pour les composant en version 3.6 et 3.8 qui je trouve maintenant qu'il y a les fork pour Unity il n'y a plus trop d'excuse pour garder ces vieux composants. Sachant qu'on peut même pas les mettre à jour via les PPA gnome3 stable.

Trusty depuis un moment commence à me faire douter : Le support du Multi Moniteur est passé de ASSEZ BIEN vers trop Mediocre.
Déja que la session se verrouille/ferme seule et là avec le Multi Monitor tu as des freezes qui t'obligent à redemarrer à chaud !

Hier je devais faire un exposé avec ma Trusty 14.04 sur un PC portable et pour cela le relier à un vidéoprojecteur, hé bien il fut impossible d'obtenir autre chose que l'image du fond de bureau vierge, sans les icônes ni les raccourcis. J'ai dû basculer vers ma Debian stable (que je garde en dual boot) pour pouvoir avoir une image correcte avec le vidéoprojecteur. Faudrait peut-être arrêter de dire que Trusty non stable c'est mieux que Windows version finale car c'est complètement faux.

Il ne faudrait pas oublier que vous testez une version en cours de développement, donc potentiellement instable. De plus, si vous avez des bugs, des régressions, ou autres joyeusetés, pensez à faire des rapports de bugs. L'union fait la force quand on a de bonnes raisons se plaindre.
Allez, courage amis testeurs, la route est longue, mais elle est libre. Et n'y voyez aucune agressivité dans mes propos.

Depuis ce matin chez moi, les webapps s'ouvrent dans le browser dédié et ont leur icône dans le launcher. Je commençais à croire que j'étais le seul avec ce problème et que ça serait pas corrigé...
