unichrome pro igp + via K8M800 = écran noir (acer 1362LMI)

L'accélération graphique (3D) ne fonctionne toujours pas avec la carte graphique unichrome pro igp + via K8M800. C'est à dire qu'en remplaçant "vesa" par "via" dans /etc/X11/xorg.conf on obtient un bel écran noir après un redémarrage de l'ordi.

config
       portable acer 1362LMI
       carte graphique unichrome Pro chipset K8M800
      cpu 32bits sempron 2800+
      512 Mo RAM
dapper mise à jour le 15/2/2006 avec:
        kernel 2.15.14 (386 ou k7)
        xserver7.0.0-0ubuntu15

avec un /etc/X11/xorg.conf (extrait):

Curieux la carte est pourtant reconnue en faisant lspci on a (dernière ligne):

0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. S3 Unichrome Pro VGA Adapter (rev 01)

C'est déjà encourageant sous breezy, la carte n'est pas reconnue du tout. Cependant la détection automatique échoue (avec dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg).

Si je fais  sudo discover -d --xserver, on a:

on peut voir que la version du noyau et celle du système sur lequel le serveur x a été compilé ne correspondent pas ...


des idées ? config de xorg.conf ?

STP pas de fluo, ça tue les yeux.
Utilise la balise "Code", ce sera plus facile.

J'ai lancé la comande pour voire et j'ai eu les mêmes erreurs de lecture mais il se trouve que ces fichier n'existent tout simplement pas.

Par contre, cette comande a l'air bien pratique!
