pb wifi PRO/Wireless 4965 sur toshiba satellite x200-21E

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai récemment installé ubuntu sur mon portable toshiba. S'agissant de ma première expérience avec linux, e progresse petit à petit et commence à comprendre l'organisation et le fonctionnement du système.

J'ai résolu plusieurs problèmes ( grâce au site et au forum de la communauté, véritable mine d'or d'infos ) dont l'installation des pilotes propriétaires nvidia, ... Cependant malgrés mes recherches et la lecture de nombreux threads traitant du wifi, je n'arrive pas à installer ma carte wifi chipset intel PRO/Wireless 4965.

Je pense que la carte est détectée comme le montre le résultat de la commande sudo lshw -C network ( ci-dessous ), mais que veut dire le "network UNCLAIMED" ?

La je patauge vraiment, j'ai essayé plusieurs tutos et rien n'y fait ... J'ai installé les pilotes windows de ma carte et le matériel est bien présent ... Personne pour m'aider?

le pilote est iwl4965
donc essayes

sudo modprobe iwl4965

et retour de

sudo lshw -C network

si la carte est toujours unclaimed, ton problème vient peut-etre d'une combinaison de touche d'activation du wifi, ou bien dans le bios!

Désolé de cette réponse tardive, j'étais en déplacement.
Effectivement aprés avoir chargé le module de ma carte wifi avec modprobe, la carte n'est plus "UNCLAIMED".
Je vois les réseaux wifi, j'ai pu configurer le mien et me connecter, tout fonctionne.
Cependant, je dois recharger le module à chaque reboot ... J'ai déjà vu des posts traitant du même pb, je vais donc essayer de le résoudre par moi même.

oui je pense. ta commande m'a donné ça :
