Pas de redémarrage

Bonjour

J'ai téléchargé Ubuntu 18.10 et installé avec une clé USB (Options "Noapic" et "Nomodeset" ).tout s'est bien passé jusqu'au redémarrage.

Celui-ci s'arrête sur

OK - Started Tool to automatically colle...nd submit kernel crash signatures
OK - Started GNOME Display Manager

puis, plus rien l'écran reste sur ces deux dernières lignes.

"Tester Ubuntu sans l'installer "  fonctionnait normalement.

PS : Ma machine : DELL DIMENSION E 521 - AMD 5500+ Carte Graphique NVIDIA 8400 GS - 4 GO de RAM.

Parce qu'il faut que tu ajoutes manuellement ces options au démarrage de l'ordi sur ton Ubuntu 18.10 installé. Pour ce faire, je donne des indications là : http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.ph … 1#p9820021 (sauf que ce post décrit comment ajouter nomodeset seulement. Mais tu pourras rajouter noapic - en plus de nomodeset - si c'est indispensable)

Bonjour

Merci Malbo.

Les options "noapic et nomodeset" sont déjà inscrites dans le processus. (Je les avais selectionnées avant l'installation, par F6). Cependant, nomodeset est mentionné deux fois et "entoure" noapic "nomodeset - noapic - nomodeset". Je vais enlever le premier et j'essaie.

Tout cela est bien surprenant. Je te prie de faire un "état des lieux" en réalisant un Boot-Info depuis une session live (ordi démarré sur ta LiveUSB, choix "Essayer Ubuntu") et donner l'URL de ce Boot-Info dans ta réponse.

Entre temps j'ai refait l'installation en débranchant l'autre disque dur,  sans passer par la case "Essayer Ubuntu sans l'installer" mais en sélectionnant les options NOAPIC ET NOMODESET qui sont bien inscrite dans processus de démarrage.
Même problème avec un arrêt au même endroit et les mêmes notifications que dans mon #1.
Je fais le boot info et le poste au plus tôt.
