Souci Grub suite à mise à jour
Bonjour à tous.
Je viens d'installer la dernière version (encore en beta) d'Ubuntu, la 20.04.
J'ai choisi un partitionnement manuel. J'ai 2 disques: 1 ssd de 120Go et 1 disque mécanique de 1To. Je suis sur un PC portable ACER Aspire.
J'ai fait le partionnement suivant:
sda:
- 1 partition btrfs d'1To sur /home
sdb:
- 1 partition fat32 de 250Mo EFI
- 1 partition btrfs avec le reste de l'espace disque sur /
Pendant l'installation, il m'a été demandé où je voulais installer Grub, j'ai choisi sdb (sans être sûr à 100% de ce choix)
L'installation s'est bien déroulée. Mon PC a redémarré sans problème.
MAIS une nouvelle mise étant proposée, je la lance, et j'obtiens un message d'erreur m'indiquant que Grub n'était plus disponible, me laissant aucune possiblité de le réinstaller...
J'ai installé boot-repair et boot-info.

Je n'ose plus redémarrer et j'aimerais comprendre ce qu'il s'est passé et si j'aurais dû faire un autre choix pour Grub à l'installation.

J'ai l'impression qu'il y a 2 grub installés. 1 sur chaque partition de sdb...

Ce chapitre semble me conforter dans le choix du disque (sdb) plutôt qu'une partition pour l'installation de Grub: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/parti … d_amorcage
Mais je ne comprend pas ce qui s'est passé lors de la mise à jour de ce fait.

Avec une installation en mode UEFI, Si tu installes en choisissant de faire le partitionnement ("Autre chose" à "type d'installation"). Il faut choisir la partition boot-efi (/dev/sdb1) pour installer grub-efi.
C'est lorsque l'on choisit d'installer en mode Bios_Legacy, qu'il faut installer grub(première partie) dans le secteur de boot du disque /dev/sdb sans indiquer de numéro de partition.
On voit dans le deuxième boot info, que boot-repair à su réinstaller grub-efi correctement.

J'ai découvert Ubuntu avec la 07.10.... Et alors?!... Depuis je regarde de temps en temps si Windows marche toujours....

Comme je venais juste d'installer Ubuntu, j'ai décidé de relancer une installation en choisissant sdb1 comme partition pour grub.
Sauf qu'une fois installée et la mise à jour relancée, j'ai toujours cette même erreur:

Une explication?
Modération : merci d'utiliser des images de petite taille (300x300) ou des miniatures pointant sur ces images (Des hébergeurs comme Toile Libre ou TDCT'Pix le permettent).

Vu que j'ai du temps et que j'aime tester (ça me permet d'apprendre et comprendre), j'ai décidé d'essayer autre chose: j'ai passé mon bios en mode Legacy et non plus UEFI. J'ai relancé l'installation. J'ai ajouté une partition grub bios (sdb1) en plus de ma partition root (sdb2). J'ai indiqué que le périphérique sur lequel devait se trouver l'amorceur de démarrage était sdb. Une fois Ubuntu installée, j'ai relancé les mises à jour et là c'est passé sans problème. J'ai relancé le PC pour vérification, ça fonctionne.

Pour que j'aie des infos complémentaires, je te prie de faire un Boot-info depuis une session de ton ubuntu installé et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse.
