Merci quand meme , je vais voir si des gens ont autres chose a proposer , de mon coté je vais essayer de voir avec un ami qui a le meme PC que moi pour voir si ça vient de mon installation de Ubuntu ou de mon PC , si c'est la meme sur le sien , j'esserais d'installer Ubuntu sur d'autre disque amovible et d'autre manière.
Petite précision (c'est bete d'y penser que maintenant) : En gros j'arrivais pas installer Ubuntu avec l'option "autre" dcp j'ai debrancher mon HDD pour qu'il y est que mon SSD de branché et j'ai lancée une installation normal , je sais pas si ça change qqchose pour ce genre d'utilisation d'Ubuntu

Du coup, j'ai débranché mon HDD pour qu'il n'y ait que mon SSD de branché et j'ai lancé une installation normale , je sais pas si ça change quelque chose pour ce genre d'utilisation d'Ubuntu
ça se voyait dans le Boot-info que tu avais procédé comme ça. A mon avis, tu avais bien fait de déconnecter ton HDD parce que ça évitait deux conneries : primo d'écraser malencontreusement tout ce qu'il y avait dans ton HDD (il y en a d'autres qui se sont fait avoir...) et secundo, d'installer le chargeur d'amorçage du Grub de Ubuntu 20.04 dans le MBR du HDD (alors qu'il est impératif de l'installer dans le MBR du SSD). Donc si c'était à refaire, moi je te conseillerais de procéder exactement comme tu as fait.

Peux tu débrancher tous les accessoires usb (souris sans fil, disque externe et autres), clavier inclus, puis redémarre la machine, et donne nous sans attendre (en rebranchant le clavier) :
dmesg && sudo systemd-analyze && sudo systemd-analyze blame

Il y a déjà eu un problème de compatibilité avec le modèle de SSD externe que tu utilises (Portable SSD T5 de Samsung) : c'est herveD qui en parle dans cette discussion : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2046377 (il a dû renvoyer ce SSD externe au fabricant).

J'ai moi aussi un SSD Samsung T5 mais bon , l'OS prends du temps mais ce lance bien (et marche niquel sur un PC qui 16Go de Ram) , mon autre partition en ext4 pour les fichier marche impécable , donc je pense pas que j'ai le meme problème que lui
toute fois on a peut etre un début d'explication dans leur post #5 :
Bah oui... Il le sont tous... Comme je l'ai dit il suffit de le formater avant la première utilisation... Après sinon ça doit aussi pouvoir venir de la carte mère qui comme elle est limitée dans son support de quantité de RAM peut peut-être l'être aussi pour la taille des disques dur mais j'en doute...

Quoi qu'il en soit, ton vieux portable Acer Aspire 7741 a des problèmes au démarrage quand ce SSD externe est connecté. Moi je n'ai pas d'idée sur ce qu'il faudrait faire pour résoudre ce problème.

Bonsoir à tous. Désolé pour le detterrage de post mais je regarde également le T5 de Samsung pour remplacer un vieux WD vieillissant. Est-ce que tu as fait quelque chose de spécial pour installer Ubuntu dessus ou juste un formatage au premier démarrage ?

Je ne sais plus trop mais juste du le formater avec l’outils de base sur l’installeur d’Ubuntu (Gnome Disk ? Partitionner disque ?).
Le SSD marche très bien pour ma part, toute fois fait attention à ne pas faire la même erreur que moi , un SSD ça marche vite , mais si au bout tu le mets sur de l’USB 2.0 les perf seront très fortement bridé.

Bonjour Tomvt, merci pour ton retour . J'ai du US3 3.x donc je ne devrais pas trop perdre. Une petite question complémentaire quand même avant d'aller investir dans un SSD externe, est-ce que tu as vu une différence importante par rapport à ton ancien disque malgré la limitation de l'USB 2.0 ?
