[RÉSOLU] Impression recto-verso sur Samsung Xpress M2070W
Bonjour à tous,
je pense que mon titre est précis, je n'arrive PLUS à imprimer en recto verso (manuel) depuis mon imprimante Samsung.
L'option recto-verso est inactivée quelque soit le logiciel utilisé (notamment Okular, puisque c'est celui qui m'intéresse le plus)
Je ne sais pas ce qui a changé, ça fonctionnait bien...
Voici les informations de mon système, ça fait énormément de lecture, mais c'est ce qui est conseillé dans le tutoriel, j'espère que ça vous aidera

Si j'ai bien compris, tu souhaiterais imprimer par défaut en recto-verso manuel et non en automatique tout le temps, c'est à dire avoir le choix de quand choisir une impression recto-verso? Ou alors tu veux dire que tu n'as même plus d'impression recto-verso automatique et aucune possibilité d'activer/désactiver celle-ci dans les options?
Possible aussi que les pilotes pour Samsung n'évoluent pas toujours en bien à l'avenir? Voir https://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/forum/in … opic=366.0 (à voir aussi si en récupérant le fichier *.PPD de ton imprimante, il ne serait pas possible d'en étudier le contenu?).
Sinon vas dans les paramètres de CUPS http://localhost:631/printers/? et ensuite pour ton imprimante, une fois sélectionnée, cliques sur le bouton Administration et tu y choisis de définir les options de l'imprimante. Dans celles-ci, suivant le modèle d'imprimante les paramétrages sont différents, vérifie si tu peux y modifier l'option duplex ou recto-verso.
Et puisque tu utilises Plasma, vas dans la Configuration du système de KDE et contrôles si tu peux y changer la configuration des options de ton imprimante.
En consultant la page https://www.bchemnet.com/suldr/supported.html il me semble comprendre que ton imprimante pourrait bénéficier d'un pilote en version 1.00.36 et non 1.00.06 comme tu as actuellement...
EDIT: En fait, il semble que ton imprimante Samsung ne fasse pas du vrai recto-verso, juste du "manuel" (impression des pages paires et ensuite après retournement manuel des feuilles on relance l'impression des pages impaires?).

Désolé, j'ai du mal m'expliquer.
Effectivement, mon imprimante ne fait que du recto-verso manuel (paires puis impaires), mais ça me convenait quand ça fonctionnait...
Je souhaiterais pouvoir imprimer en recto par défaut (c'est le cas) et pouvoir sélectionner l'option recto-verso, mais celle-ci est désactivée.
Je vais essayer de suivre tes conseils
EDIT :
j'ai bien mis à jour le pilote.
Lorsque je vais sur la page de configuration telle que tu me l'as indiquée, le menu déroulant 'côtés' ne me propose que l'option one-sided
Dans la configuration de KDE, je ne trouve pas où on peut modifier les options de l'imprimante

À tout hasard, essayes l'installation de Boomaga, c'est un "pilote" pour une imprimante virtuelle. Celle-ci permettant d'obtenir une prévisualisation de ce qui va être imprimé par toute application, même si dans celle-ci aucune fonction d'aperçu n'existe et à partir ensuite de Boomaga on sélectionne l'imprimante de destination ou sinon on effectue quelques modification du résultat dans le but de l'impression de livrets.
Une fois installé Boomaga, il te suffira de le sélectionner comme modèle d'imprimante lors de l'impression, c'est ensuite dans sa fenêtre que tu choisira ta Samsung comme destination d'impression. Dans la configuration de cette imprimante "virtuelle", tu auras aussi la possibilité d'y configurer un mode recto-verso manuel ou automatique, à voir si ça peut aider dans ta situation.
sudo apt-get install boomagaEDIT: J'ai testé mon imprimante Canon MP495 avec Boomaga et en effet, grâce à cette imprimante virtuelle, l'impression sur la Canon devient possible en recto-verso manuel et si l'on désire imprimer normalement, il suffit de ne pas sélectionner l'imprimante Boomaga.

Alors, ça fonctionne très bien avec Boomaga, merci beaucoup
Malgré tout, je reste pantois devant cette disparition de l'option (très pratique) impression recto/verso manuelle, je ne sais pas ce qui s'est passé

de souvenir, la première fois, j'avais installé les drivers via un fichier ppd
Cette fois-ci, je l'ai fait via synaptic
ça pourrait expliquer quelquechose ?

Peut-être qu'une mise à jour de CUPS à changer la prise en compte de certaines des variables contenues dans le fichier PPD?
À voir dans /etc/cups/ppd/ le contenu du fichier Samsung_M2070_Series.ppd s'il n'y a pas quelque chose de modifiable autour d'une ligne contenant le mot "duplex"? J'ai chargé un fichier PPD qui doit être semblable à celui de ton imprimante mais je n'y ai pas trouvé de référence au mode duplex par exemple...
Autre piste, n'as tu pas sélectionné dans les options de l'imprimante, par défaut, un type de papier ou un paramétrage qui interdit toute tentative d'impression recto-verso?
EDIT: Parfois, l'option de recto-verso manuel peut être proposée dans certaines applications et pas d'autres (par exemple présent dans WPS Office, quoique j'ai pas encore testé si mode "duplex manuel" vraiment fonctionnel)...
