Install sur pc neuf impossible (erreur grub) Résolu

]Bonjour, j'ai monté un nouveau pc : proc : Intel I3; carte mère : Asus B360 tuf pro gaming(wi-fi) ; ssd crucil 256mo; version bios  : 1801.

La version que j'essayé d'installer est la LTS 2004 64Bit, le ssd n'est pas neuf et windows 10 64Bit  y était installé.

J'ai mis le secure boot sur SE (autre système).

L'installation se déroule normalement et sans soucis, sauf qu'en fin d'installation, j'obtiens une erreur de grub: falied ... ? cette erreur est irrécupérable ??

Le bios est mis à jour (Ver. 2301), mais je n'ai toujours pas tenté une nouvelle installation d'Ubuntu.

Une idée.

Oui, c'est expliqué au paragraphe 1.1.2 Cas où aucun Ubuntu installé sur disque n'est opérationnel. de la doc "Créer un rapport Boot-Info" dont je t'ai donné le lien dans le post #2

Bonjour,
Pour installer Ubuntu, il convient de faire de la place sur le SSD. Il faut faire maigrir le disque C: de Windows et ça se fait depuis Windows 10 lui-même avec la fonction Gestion des disques (voir paragraphe 3.1 Pour Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 de la doc "Repartitionner un disque déjà équipé d'un système d'exploitation". Si tu parviens à faire maigrir de 50 Go le disque C: de Windows, ce sera suffisant pour installer Ubuntu dans cette place libérée.

EDIT : d'après ce que je vois dans le Boot-info, je pense que ça devrait se faire sans souci cette réduction de la taille de C: mais en cas de problème, tu peux appliquer les conseils de ce tuto : "Optimiser espace disponible pour réduction de partition Windows"

Procès de l'installateur (sauf nouvelle donne) :
- 1) installe du buntu
- 2) installe du Grub

Mais là pas de trace de buntu ! As-tu au moins crée, depuis win, un espace non-alloué sur le ssd et/ou le hdd pour recevoir le buntu ?

L'installation d'Ubuntu a été effectuée via : autre chose.
L'instal de win 10 à été effectuée après l'échec de l'installation d'Ubuntu,
Le but était d'installer Ubuntu sans windows.

Lors de la création de la clé usb (via rufus) j'avais laissé le schéma de partition en MBR, or le ssd était partitionné en GPT.

Le problème d'installation viens peut-être de là ?

Le type de partition MBR pour la LiveUSB, ça convient parfaitement. C'est ce que j'utilise tout le temps. A mon avis, ça n'a rien à voir avec ton problème.
Est-ce que tu veux mettre en pratique ce que j'ai proposé dans le post #10 pour installer Ubuntu en cohabitation avec Windows 10 ou bien ?

Le but c'est d'installer Ubuntu sans Windows.
J'ai un petit ssd de 120 go, je vais essayer d'y installer Ubuntu.
Si j'ai la possibilité de noter l'erreur de grub en fin d'installation, je vous la communiquerais.

L'installation n'a pas fonctionnée.

Le message d'erreur est : L'exécution de grub-install/dev/sda à échoué. L'erreur est fatale.

N'y aurait-il pas une incompatibilité avec la carte-mère ?

Bon, après avoir déconnecter mes DD, j'ai refait une tentative d'isntall d'Ubuntu...
L'installation a de nouveau planté...?

Marre et ras le bol .

Bonjour,
j'ai analysé ton dernier Boot-info. On voit que l'install de Ubuntu a été faite sur un SSD "Samsung SSD 840" qui n'existait pas dans le Boot-info du post #8. Ce qui est inhabituel, c'est que Ubuntu est installé en mode EFI sur ce SSD alors que sa table de partition est du type MSDOS. On peut voir ça dans cette ligne extraite de la partie "parted -lm (filtered)" du Boot-info (mention "msdos") :

En principe, il faut une table de partition du type GPT pour installer Ubuntu en mode EFI.
Cela dit, il n'est pas indispensable de refaire cette installation à mon avis. Tu peux rester en l'état et je ne crois pas que tu auras des ennuis à cause de ça.

Ce ssd n'existait pas car il n'était pas installé dans le pc.
Je l'ai installé; déconnecté mes deux DD et ensuite j'ai fait l'installation de linux sur ce ssd.

Pourtant ce ssd était patronné en GPT, puisque qu'il y avait un vieux win 10 installé.
De plus, pour installer Ubuntu, j'ai crée une partition efi, une racine, une home et une partition swap.

Je laisse tout dans l'état actuel, wait and see.

Ce que je ne comprend pas trop, c'est que le ssd était partitionné en GPT (win 10 y était installé) et ce même ssd ce retrouve en msdos ?

La première install n'avait pas fonctionné erreur :  grub-install/dev/sda, en déconnectant mes autres DD , une reinstall et en fin d'install à nouveau une erreur 'Nous sommes désolé ...." et après redémarrage, qui est apparu... Ubuntu.

Si Win10 était préinstallé d'origine dans ce SSD, c'est quasiment sûr que le type de partitionnement était GPT (*). Si ce n'est pas le cas (install faite par toi ou un autre), Win10 peut s'installer dans un disque préalablement partitionné en MSDOS donc j'ai un gros doute.

(*) je n'ai jamais rencontré sur ce forum un Win10 préinstallé par le fabricant de l'ordi qui le soit sur un disque MSDOS : c'est tout le temps sur un disque GPT.

Le ssd à été installé par mes soins, ainsi que win 10.

En premier lieu win 7, suivit de la mise à jour de win 7 vers win 10 (mise à jour gratuite), ensuite une clean install afin d'y installer win 10 1904.
