Scanner HP inutilisable sous la 18.04 [RESOLU]
Bonjour
Suite au passage de la 14.04 vers la 18.04, la Laserjet M1132 MFP connectée en USB ne scanne plus mais imprime correctement. HPLIP 3.18.4 est bien installé et tout est reconnu mais message d'erreur dans Simple Scan qui dit : "Echec de numérisation - Impossible de se connecter au périphérique d'impression". Meme Xsane ne le reconnait pas (erreur d'entrée/sortie sur le périphérique).
La commande "hp-doctor" répond comme suit :

EDIT du 14 mai : Finalement, un bug dans HPLIP bloque le scanner pour cause d'incompatibilité avec la 18.04

Cette imprimante fonctionne très bien sous chaque Ubuntu.
Comment l'as-installée ?

J'ai installé avec le fichier RUN de HPLIP avec le mode automatique et tout s'est bien passé mais impossible de scanner

OK. Je me demande bien pourquoi tu as installé le dernier hplip. Aucun intérêt à mon avis.
Sinon désintalle les imprimantes

Tout à l'air bon pourtant.
Je note qu'il ne te propose pas le plugin propriétaire. Je suppose que tu l'as installé/accepté lors de la première installation.
Essaie de faire un scan avec

Oui, la partie impression fonctionne parfaitement et j'ai remarqué que vers la fin de l'installation de HPLIP 3.18.4 se fermait brutalement tout seul donc plantage direct (derniere tentative avant passage a la 16.04)

- suppression de l'imprimante qui s'installe toute seule

GHS ? As tu réussi du coup ?
Ou es tu repassé en 16.04 
C'est pourquoi je recommande toujours d'avoir 2 partitions au moins système + 1 partition home, comme cela tu peux avoir en parallèle la version N et N+1 de ton (x)ubuntu et ainsi tu peux tester si cela fonctionne et basculer définitivement quand tout est nickel. Après tout dépend si tu as un disque rikiki, c'est plus compliqué
Je serais curieux de savoir si la fonction scan a fonctionner avec la version des dépots alors qu'avec la toute dernière version (du site) non.

Je déterre mon topic pour vous donner une bonne nouvelle : j'ai remis Xubuntu 18.04.2 suite plantage de la 16.04.1 et j'ai procédé comme indiqué Grigouille (#14) et le scanner fonctionne parfaitement avec la version présente dans les dépôts

J'avais le même problème sous 18.4. Je suis passé à la version 20.4.1 et le problème persistait : l'impression avec ma HP Photosmart B 210 fonctionnait parfaitement mais le scanner n'était plus reconnu.
J'ai procédé à la manip conseillée par gribouille (#14) et tout s'est rétabli.
