Difficultés pour scanner avec Brother_MFC_L2710DW_series
Bonjour
Je précise que je suis novice avec LINUX et ne maitrise sans doute pas correctement les règles du forum, je m'en excuse
Il m'a été suggéré de créer une nouvelle discussion et je m'exécute
Je rencontre des problèmes pour scanner
mon imprimante
Brother_MFC_L2710DW_series
Pour info, elle fonctionne correctement en impression
Pour scanner,
Ne fonctionne pas avec gscan2pdf ni USB, ni Wifi
Ne fonctionne pas avec Numériseur (anciennement SimpleScan) ni USB, ni Wifi pourtant il trouve l'imprimante
Message d'erreur
Erreur d'ouverture du périphérique 'brother-4:bus1;dev4':
Paramètre non valable
Scanner fonctionne par contre avec Vuescan mais avec la wifi seulement et pas en USB
Le problème est que je ne souhaite pas utiliser Vuescan qui ne me parait pas pratique et n'est pas un logiciel intégré à UBUNTU

Merci pour cette idée.
Par analogie avec ce qui est indiqué dans le fichier 60-libsane.rules pour les autres imprimantes, j'ai modifié la rédaction des 2 lignes pour y introduire la référence précise de l'imprimante
Pas de résultat,j'ai fait alors d'autres tentatives, voici la dernière:

La Doc indique :
Il s’agit ici d’un problème de droit, le pilote de numérisation fourni par Brother, aussi invraisemblable que cela puisse paraître, n’est pas prévu pour permettre à l’utilisateur courant d’utiliser le scanner.
Voici une solution à ce problème :
Éditez le fichier /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane1.rules avec les droits d’administration.
Ajoutez les deux lignes suivantes à la fin de la liste de matériel:# Brother scanners ATTRS{idVendor}=="04f9", ENV{libsane_matched}="yes"Sauvegardez le fichier.
Et c'est pas évident, dans cet exemple > pbm instal Brother DCP-J572DW avec le script de Demonipush [Résolu]

n'existe pas
Il y a seulement un
/lib/udev/rules.d/60-libsane.rules
J'ai tenté de lui ajouter les deux lignes que tu proposes mais cela ne résout pas le problème

ii brscan5 1.2.3-0 amd64 Brother Scanner Driver brscan5cela semblerais dire que tu as 2 scanner ? peux tu confirmer que oui
si ce n‘est pas le cas il y a un paquet brscan4 ou 5 qui serait à enlever
comme je suppose que tu ne sauras pas lequel est le mauvais
il faudrait tout désinstaller purger tous les paquet brother et brscan pour repartir de zéro
avec le script de demonipuch (voir mon profil)
Peut tu donner aussi confirmation que tu utilise l‘usb ET le wifi pour scanner
je suppose que ta connexion usb est sur le PC et pas sur ta box (serveur d’impression)
et que ton wifi est en IP fixe du genre 192.168.0.x sans zéro devant les chiffres (pas de 192.168.000.00x)

Utilisez les drivers libres avant d’ installer une brother avec le script de demonipuch
