[RÉSOLU]scanner HP ENVY Photo 6234

Bonjour
Je viens de faire une nouvelle installation de mon système
    xubuntu 20.04.1 sur un nouveau SSD (500 Go)
Je ne parviens pas à installer Simple Scan ou XSane (tous les deux présents dans mes applications)
dans les deux cas réponse aucun périphérique disponible
Je précise que j'utilise une imprimante HP ENVY Photo 6234

ressort-il un message d'erreur ?

Montre d'éventuels paquets cassés :

Je suis désolé et me rends compte que ce forum est une bénédiction pour compenser la perte de mémoire (encore faible, mais...)

Faudrait voir le retour de:

dpkg -l hplip

D'après le site HPLIP supported_devices/index, le modèle
HP ENVY Photo 6234 requiert au minimum hplip en version 3.17.9 avec l'installation du greffon propriétaire.

Si @gibar84 est sur une Xenial 16.04, la version installée de hplip ne serait pas suffisante.

Avant installation de xubuntu 20.04 (téléchargé sur site xubuntu) j'étais sous ubuntu 20.04 et simple scan fonctionnait normalement

j'étais sous ubuntu 20.04 et simple scan fonctionnait normalement

Ben oui, hplip sur ubuntu 20.04 est présentement en version 3.20.3, largement suffisante pour ton modèle d'imprimante.

Cela dépasse mes compétences (mini) je me suis contenté de télécharger xubuntu 20.04 que j'ai installé sur un nouveau SSD

Peut-être tenter en simple utilisateur, sans sudo:

hp-plugin -i

...et donner le retour complet de la commande.

Sinon je ne sais pas quoi te proposer d'autre, à part peut-être de revenir sur la 20.04...?

Pour HP, je ne sais pas répondre, complète ton titre avec le modèle de l'imprimante.

Pour éditer le titre, il faut utiliser le bouton Modifier au bas de ton premier message.

Les retours du #20 me semblent corrects; je pense que le greffon proprio s'est bien installé.
Pour vérifier, refait la commande:

 hp-plugin -i

...sur une 16.04, le retour devrait donner quelque chose de semblable si le greffon est réellement bien installé:

Si tout ça ne fonctionne pas, je n'ai pas d'autres solutions à te propser pour la 16.04, sinon de consulter la doc du forum concernant les scanners:
Scanners et photocopies sous Ubuntu

Si absolument rien ne marche, peut-être regarder du coté de Vuescan, logiciel non-libre par contre...
