imprimante Brother L-2530DW non reconnue après seconde mise en route
Bonjour,
Je viens vers la communauté à peu près une fois par an pour un petit soucis... voilà celui que j'ai actuellement : une nouvelle imprimante Brother L-2530DW qui a été installée comme indiqué dans les tuto, et qui fonctionne très bien, sauf quand elle est éteinte puis rallumée à nouveau, par exemple après quelques heures (et que l'ordi est passé en veille pendant ce temps), alors l'imprimante n'est plus reconnue par le pilote d'impression et je vois le statut "unplugged or turned off" lorsque je veux imprimer, alors que l'imprimante est bien (r)allumée. Si je lance une impression, il ne se passe rien jusqu'à ce que je redémarre l'ordi, et alors seulement l'impression se lance.

merci pour cette suggestion. J'ai essayé les deux commandes, mais rien n'y fait... S'il y a d'autres pistes je suis preneur !

oui je suis toujours sur 16.04. J'ai déjà essayé de passer à d'autres versions mais j'ai plein de problèmes, notamment avec la mise en veille et des freeze d'écran, du coup je garde celle-là qui me plait bien. Bref...
Rien ne va plus : j'ai suivi les indication du lien que tu m'as donné, vu que le gars semblait avoir un soucis analogue : Removing printer-driver-gutenprint package solved the problem for me; it seems the current version is broken. You may also need to uninstall cups, clear /etc/cups/ directory and install cups again.
J'ai fait tout cela via synaptic. Résultat : je n'ai plus d'imprimante du tout et je n'arrive plus à la réinstaller avec le script brother_driver_install_tool

Bonsoir,
bon, en cherchant un peu, j'ai trouvé ce post : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2034239 et la commande du bas m'a permis de retrouver mon imprimante !
merci Xubu1957 ! c'était aussi toi à la manœuvre là-bas en 2018 
du coup j'en reviens à ma question de départ, mais qui n'est pas si grave vu que j'arrive quand même à imprimer, même s'il faut redémarrer.
J'ai pu préciser le problème : c'est bien lorsque j'éteins l'imprimante puis que je la rallume qu'elle n'est plus reconnue. Dans ce cas, un "sudo service cups restart" n'y change rien.
donc si vous avez des idées, je suis preneur 
bon dimanche !

J'ai donc allumé l'ordi, puis allumé l'imprimante, et vérifié que je pouvais imprimer, puis j'ai éteint l'imprimante pour la rallumer dans la foulée, mais elle apparaît bien en "unplugged or turned off".
