[RESOLU]double boot Windows Ubuntu

Bonjour

Je voudrais passer mon ordi de bureau en double boot Windows 10 et ubuntu

les os sur SSD  et les données sur le hdd de 1 go

Windows 10 devra rester en état de fonctionnement est mis a jour régulièrement
mais ne sera presque plus utilisé,donc peu de données crée de ce coté

j'utiliserais presque uniquement Ubuntu et les données arriveront plutôt de ce coté

alors soit je passe le hdd tout en NTFS

ou une partie en ntfs  pour Windows et une partie en ext4 montée sur /DATA / pour Ubuntu

Bonjour,
Oui, puisque tu conserves Windows, même si tu déclares que tu ne vas pas beaucoup t'en servir, je te conseille de choisir cette solution : une partition de stockage unique en NTFS sur le HDD. C'est ce que je pratique.

EDIT : même si c'est possible de changer l'ordre, je te conseille d'installer Windows 10 en premier. Et ensuite Ubuntu.

bon j'ai bien fait de poser  la question donc le hdd tout entier en ntfs

comme le ssd ne fait que 120 go je vais en profiter pour le changer
j'en ai un neuf de 480 g, qui attend

cela m’évitera de faire faire de la place en plein milieu de la partition ( C )

réinstalle Windows 10 et Ubuntu a coté

Please do not forget to make your UEFI firmware boot on the Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS entry (sda1/efi/****/shim****.efi (**** will be updated in the final message) file) !
If your computer reboots directly into Windows, try to change the boot order in your UEFI firmware.

If your UEFI firmware does not allow to change the boot order, change the default boot entry of the Windows bootloader.
For example you can boot into Windows, then type the following command in an admin command prompt:
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\****\shim****.efi (**** will be updated in the final message)

Tout me parait correct. Il y a une petite chose qui me parait bizarre, c'est cette ligne concernant sda3 dans cet extrait :

La mention "ro" signifie que la partition système de Windows a été montée en "Read Only" donc que cette partition est en hibernation. Puisque tu as dit que tu devrais peu utiliser Win10, je te conseille de désactiver le démarrage rapide de Win10 (*) parce que c'est cette fonctionnalité qui entraîne la mise en hibernation des partitions NTFS

Si un jour tu n'arrives plus à écrire dans la partition de données, ce sera sans doute parce qu'elle aura été mise en hibernation par Windows 10. Pour vérifier si c'est bien le problème, il faut démarrer sur Win10 (pas besoin d'ouvrir une session : tu peux rester sur la page de connexion de session de Win10) puis quitter Win10 par "Redémarrer". Quand Win10 est quitté comme ça, il n'y a pas de mise en hibernation des partitions NTFS, même si la fonction "démarrage rapide" est activée.

j'ai mis a jour Windows 10 régulièrement et fait les images systèmes avec l’outil de Windows

sur un HDD externe, la dernière image système n'a pas voulu se faire , (problème EFI ) , indiqué par l’outil Microsoft ?

Ubuntu fonctionne a merveille, je pense que la 22.04 j'installerais sans Windows
si vous avez quelques idées d'avance Merci

Si tu te sépares de windows, n'oublie pas que tes données sont dans une partition NTFS. Tu n'auras plus d'outils pour réparer correctement. Donc en premier, sauver ailleurs les données  puis reformater la partition NTFS en EXT4 et enfin restaurer les données.
