Installation Ubuntu Vaio SVF142C29M
Bonjour,
Grâce à ce site, j'ai pu installer ubuntu sur un Vaio recyclé. Le modèle n'est pas référencé dans la liste des Sony Vaio supportant Ubuntu, c'est pourquoi je poste ici.

Je souhaiterais ajouter ce modèle dans la Liste des portables « SONY Vaio ». Je te prie de faire un Boot-info depuis une session se ton Ubuntu installé et de donner l'URL de ce Boot-info dans ta réponse. Cela me permettra de vérifier quelques points concernant ton type d'installation.

...Je le concède avec bcp de retard. Entre-temps bleachit et l'installation de quelques appli a peu être modifié des choses.
Désolé, mais tout marche bien, je n'étais pas revenu sur le forum pour regarder d'éventuelles contributions.
Je me lance dans une installation de la version 22 d'Ubuntu après installation d'un SSD. Car les temps de démarrage et exécution des commandes de certains logiciels (évolution, ) est vraiment handicapante. Pour 8 Go de RAM et un disque dur lent mais qui semble en bon état d'après les tests disque. Je pense du coup faire la nouvelle install sans windows en dual boot puisque tout a fonctionné.

Correction et compléments des posts précédents à propos du blocage du clavier après une mise en veille. Car à l'install de la v22.04 d'ubuntu, j'ai eu un peu plus de mal. La recette est la suivante :
Ne pas éditer le grub.cfg mais bien le /etc/default/grub rappelé dans "https://askubuntu.com/questions/1042749 … buntu-18-0" et dans "https://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/tutoriel/grub … age_manuel"
gedit marche mal, utiliser nano pour éditer
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
Find the line that begins GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= and edit it to include the new parameters, so that after your edit it looks something like
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i8042.direct i8042.dumbkbd"
Save by pressing Ctrl+O, exit by pressing Ctrl+X, and run
puis faire
sudo update-grub
puis éteindre et rallumer
Le clavier se remet en fonction sans problème après une veille mais les 2 voyants de clavier restent allumés après une veille.
