Bonjour,
Comme indiqué dans le titre le Scanner ne fonctionne pas (l'imprimante fonctionne)
Pour rédiger ce document j'ai suivi le tuto de Sylvain3800

Cliquer sur le lien « Modifier » en bas à droite du message

Pour les balises code, c'est OK.
Pour le scanner, il faudra attendre la venue de grigouille ou d'ylag.

Bonjour Gribouille...
J'ai essayé de suivre les indications données sur la page de Lamnair mais impossible de faire fonctionner le Scanner.
J'ouvre et je lance Simple Scan
Celui ci reconnaît l'imprimante -> ESCL HP ENVY 5540 series (2A11A6)
Il dit -> Prêt à numériser
Clic sur Numériser
Ensuite rien ne se passe
Que dois je faire ?

C'est dommage, tu ne donnes aucun retour de commande sur ce que tu as fait. Du coup on a aucune info.
Essayons :
Désinstalle l'imprimante :
hp-setup -irInstalle l'imprimante :

À un certain moment le terminal me propose 3 imprimantes (0, 1 ou 2)
Au hasard j'ai choisi "0"
Après tous les tests ci dessous, l'imprimante ne fonctionne plus (impossible d'imprimer un document Writer)

Il faut relancer "hp-setup -ir" pour faire le ménage dans tes imprimantes.

Je viens de faire ce que tu me dis -> hp-plugin -i
L'imprimante fonctionne correctement mais toujours pas le Scanner.
J'ai essayé :
Avec Numérisateur de documents
Il trouve l'imprimante (HP ENVY 5540_series)
Quand je clique sur Numériser -> Échec de la numérisation
Avec gscan2pdf
La numérisation se lance (Le scanner se déplace pour lire la page sur la vitre)
Ensuite le message -> gscan2pdf: sane_start: invalid argument
scan_pages Error

OK, le plugin a l'air correctement en place.
Je ne sais pas pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas. Essaie de redémarrer la machine et teste avec hp-scan -i.
Peux-tu tester avec une session live ?

Tu as le support d'installation d'Ubuntu (DVD ou clé USB) ?
Pour appliquer la procédure > amorcer_sur_cd_ubuntu#amorcage et arriver à cette étape : essayer_ubuntu_sans_rien_changer_dans_votre_ordinateur et tester ton scanner en session-live.
Conseils pour les nouveaux demandeurs et pas qu'eux
Important : Pensez à passer vos sujets en [Réso|u] lorsque ceux-ci le sont, au début du titre en cliquant sur Modifier sous le premier message, et un bref récapitulatif de la solution à la fin de celui-ci. Merci. Membre de Linux-Azur

J'ai testé avec une session live (Ubuntu installé sur une clé usb)
- Le résultat est identique :
- L'imprimante fonctionne mais pas le Scanner
Comme me le demande Grigouille j'ai fait ce que demande la doc
- Xsane 1.999 HP ENVY 5540 series se lance
Le document sur la vitre est scanné (on entend le mécanisme se déplacer)
Ensuite un message :
Échec du démarrage du scanner : Paramètre non valable
